Had the Update 20.37.11 pushed over air the other day and just realized my SoS, Assistant and map lights are all disabled now including the On/Off for the door light button as well. Pano roof and rear window buttons still work and illuminate at night... but nothing else on the overhead console...
... Does anyone know if the american Ram's are governed to 105mph?
I had to pass some slower cottage owners last weekend and my Rebel maxed out at 168-170kmh or 105mph. Seems low, I would have thought 120mph would have been the more reasonable speed.
I'll start by saying I was originally sceptical of the e-locker and even questioned getting a 5th Gen Rebel with the LSD instead because I absolutely loved how my 4th Gen LSD handled the power of the 5.7hemi.
But I decided to blindly put my faith in the engineering of the new Rebel and the...
I just wanted to pose the question, since many of the physical issues with the 5th Gen are being solved and fixed (clunk, water, bad shifting and various rattles) all we are left with is the 8.4 and 12 software gremlins that everyone is discovering to be quite common.
So, clearly there is a...
So I finally got some time after doing all the small and big things to my Rebel lately to play with XM Guardian since I have the free trial like everyone else... only to not find it on my system. Followed the instructions for phone installation and it's nowhere to be found on the system in the...
So damn excited, had to post 3 days early, but first thing Sunday morning the my Rebel will finally be level.
All the tools are laid out like christmas decorations, parts and airlines, jackstands and floor mats... oh my! I'm like a 12 year old about to build his first model rocket. It's been a...
So, I'm generally an AM news guy in the morning and then XM the rest of the day. I've finally had time to really get to know the different nuances of each input at Uconnect version 18.07.37.
My theory is that everyone has different experiences based on the version of Uconnect they have and...
I want the option to turn off my DRL'S like I could on my 16' and use the turn signals as my daytime markers.
Anyone else disappointed we lost the option? Any dealers or techs on the forum know if that can be changed? It should be able, since our American brothers and sisters have the option.
I'm sorry, after reading all of your posts about problems with your new 5th Gen Rams and seeing @RamCares collect information on almost every issue presented and discussed by the community, I've been trying to see the light at the end of the tunnel. A sign from FCA that they're all in on this...
Dropped off a co-worker who had car trouble after work, helped him get his tools out of the truck and headed home. Half way home I'm passing some slower traffic and out of nowhere I see this appear like a snake crawling across the windshield...
WTF? Spontaneous windshield cracks? I have just...
I still can't get over the improvements on these 5th Gen Rams... just so happy.
Two little surprises that I always wanted on my 16' and never understood why they wouldn't be standard have magically appeared on my new truck...
1 - The new tailgate latch... IT'S PASSIVE ENTRY ENABLED! Sweet...
Crap, or crappy install? Some things, as we're all discovering, are not perfectly installed from factory, but that's what warranty protection is for.
I gave the soft trifold a 5 out of 10 because I initially thought it was a cheap, loose fitting cover. I was intrigued by the folding and quick...
On my 16' Rebel the DRL's were the yellow turn signal when the light switch was off. For 2019 it's the upper and lower strips and the low beams.
Anyone know if the 19's can just have the lower strip or upper as the DRL?
Been talking with @BobbiBigWheels and my own dealer about the mopar level and lift kits being installed under warranty. The problem with the Rebel is that most dealers haven't had any without air ride and none of the lift/level mopar parts are compatible with factory air ride.
But, thanks to...
Yep, still grinning. I've done two small highway trips (I like that to be the start of the break-in process) and have learned a little about my new best friend in the first 300km of his life. (yes, a truck this badass is gonna be a 'he')
He's solid, holy hanna is this truck solid! From the door...
Wow, that was a painful lesson in patience that really paid off in the end.
Dealer had everything perfect, minus the red carpet.
Coming from a 16' Rebel to the 19' I was skeptical as to how much better it could be. The question has been answered and INCREDIBLY different and better in every...
Had a good laugh this morning going over all my notes and paperwork as I await my trucks delivery to the dealership this morning.... and realized I had never noticed the build date of my truck.... 7/13/18. FRIDAY THE 13TH!
Hahahaha, what a build date!
Anyone else have interesting build dates...
So I wanted to have a level kit installed by my dealer upon delivery, because I was told it would be covered under the trucks 3year/60k warranty.
Now the salesman and his parts dept are trying to tell me there is no Mopar parts (leveling or lift kits) for a 2019 Rebel with coil suspension.
Can...
