Anyone else having an issue with water pouring into the cab through the overhead console when it rains? It does not have a sunroof! I purchased the Rebel less than a month ago & has less than 1000 miles on it. Now I own a 55,000 truck with water damage! See the video below. This was after about 20 minutes of leaking (was much worse earlier but unsafe to video at the time).

Saw your other post. I can’t imagine how upset you must be. Crazy how this can happen. While I hope it’s a quick/easy fix, start documenting everything now. Pics, vids, trips to the dealer, etc. Send a PM to @RamCares and have them document, escalate and follow the results. You don’t know whether this will be an easy fix, keep happening, cause mold, mess with electrical, etc so you want to cross every T.

Human beings have had millennia to perfect the art of making a non-leaky roof.

Roof leak on a brand new vehicle in 2019 is unacceptable. Go to the dealer right away.

Is there anything mounted on the roof where the water is coming at. If not might be a windshield leak.

Unbelievable. Not confidence inspiring at all. Yo, quality Control, when done at the Bar, phone your office.

Yikes. Tell them you want a different truck. That's pathetic

2019 Ram Power Wagon. Sun roof drain leaks into cab at driver's side grab handle. Took it immediately to Ram on the June 13th to be diagnosed. Waiting on parts. I might give that @RamCares a shot.

Right now the EDD of the part is 19 July. If you can move that left I would appreciate it. It is unusually wet for this time of year in Montana.
REALLY THOUGH... the truck is great. I absolutely love it.

One of my biggest fears about buying my RAM, was the feared water leak from a few different sources.

First I've seen coming from the roof, You don't have a moonroof, so maybe not enough sealant on the windshield or rear window?

Honestly, I would be livid as well. They need to replace all areas of water damage besides sealing it, sorry you have to go through that.

My last truck was leaking in from the shark fin antenna...not that bad, but could be another intrusion point. Without a sunroof, it could only be windows or antenna. Should be an easy fix for the dealer.

I responded to your post in another thread. My limited has leaked twice in that same spot.

It ended up being the ditch rail on the roof of the truck (the black rubber strip that runs front to back on both sides of the roof. One of the rails was improperly sealed. Dealer repaired & water has not leaked since.

Perhaps posting the build date (it's on the door jam sticker) can help determine if some of these issues are isolated to certain build dates.
