2025 Ram 1500 Order Updates

I ordered in February and my truck not showing up until 12/30/2024(hopefully.), BUT, there is MY build, on the ground 500 miles away in the showroom at another dealership available for sale. (WTF!!!!)
You might want to give them a call to see what kind of deal you can make on that truck. I bought a SUV in Vancouver WA that was sitting on a lot here in Oregon so dealers do move vehicles between them to make a sale. For the right price and my dream truck I would make the road trip to get it, call it a short VACATION....

Just got a e-mail from Ram (Emzy, not Heather this time ) saying my truck is waiting on inspection prior to release or space becomes available on a carrier for shipping. Est delivery date is 12-31-24.

I'm curious on these shipping times and how they are in reality. Seems to me, just waiting on inspection and shipping shouldn't be a two month wait. That tracks with what they are estimating for mine though. Entered production 9 days after yours and my current estimated delivery date is 11 days after yours. Wondering if that will hold true or are they just saying that so they can be the good guy when it shows up early. I can see giving themselves plenty of time so they can fix anything inspection finds and I totally get they have to have space, but being in the manufacturing business as I am, shipping goes really quick(granted I'm not shipping vehicles, but still).

To answer my previous question about price discussion:

Probably best to keep that in the above forum so as not to take over this one with that. Lot's of good info there through if you have time to read through it. It's only around 900 pages of postings! lol

And yes, the later postings are about the current model year deals.

I agree about how long with the shipping dates. I've seen a few posters here get their orders before the est delivery dates so there's that. This place sure makes the ( long) wait easier. When i ordered my 19 on 4-11-18 it was 13 weeks for to me get it. Still love that truck and it still looks and drives great with only a little over 15,000 miles on it so that helps me with the waiting also.

Agreed that the shared misery of waiting is made easier by the fine people here in the forum.

A 2019 with only 15K on it? Damn!!! I'm moving from a 2017 with 120K on it. Really only upgrading because mine was a pretty base model Big Horn. Nothing wrong with it and while it has a lot of miles, it has been treated well and has zero issues!! I'm just at a point in my life where I've decided I deserve to have a luxury vehicle and I'm still young enough to want a pick up!! Looking forward to all the technology in this thing (and the massages)!!

The wife and i are home bodies for the most part plus we drive her 23 Grand Cherokee Summit a little more than our truck. I'm in my mid 60's and as long as i can drive i'll have a truck. Glad you upgraded and no doubt you'll love the Tungstun. The wife has the massaging seats in her Summit and since she won't give me one anymore ( lol ) it's nice to have.

Agreed on this forum helping with the wait times… Or at least makes it a little more enjoyable… LOL. Hopefully the incentives get better the longer we wait. :-).

Good point. When i ordered it was only 1,000. Now it's 4,000. I would be very surprised if it went down.

I'm not sure on this, so take this with a grain of salt.... I think the "advanced Atlantis electrical architecture" is new (edit: it was new as of 2023), but it just boosts the performance of the UConnect 5. Response time is supposed to be faster, etc. But the STLA Brain and STLA SmartCockpit are ground-up redesigns. (again, I'm just scratching the surface, and not sure if I've even done that right)
I recall seeing a video with one of the engineers who said the 2025 MY electrical architecture/CANBUS was significantly overhauled. He talked about how many more modules are now OTA capable.

Note the fine print on the veteran discount.... some of us have been out for a long time and we won't qualify:

"If you're Active, Active Reserve, Retired Military, Retired Military Reserve, 100% Disabled Veteran, or are an honorably discharged veteran within 12 months of your discharge date, you're eligible for $500 Military Bonus Cash( Disclosure1) under our Military Incentive Program. The offer applies to purchases and leases on select 2025 and 2024 Ram Brand vehicles."

Hmmm, that sounds like the STLA Brain. It reduces the ECUs down to ~60, and they are all OTA capable. A single processor has access to all sensors and actuators, which more easily enables the OTA access. It's possible 2025 MY is an incremental step toward this.

I'm in the same batch. Calling dealer for status update today. Probably still in I status based on the tracker... And it's been 16 days and counting.

Update on Rebel X build. Ram tracker says build complete but no ship date yet. See pic of tracker. Maybe gives us some hope.
This tracker just keeps adding to the confusion and unreliability. How is my truck still in build status and I have an estimated ship date, but your tracker shows built with a TBD ship date. Whoever set this up or is working on the back end of the tracker is either lazy or incompetent!! LOL

JT, glad your truck is built. I'm curious what your actual ship/receive date will be!! Congrats on making it this far, keep us posted!!

I ordered my 2025 Laramie on 10/5 and it has been built and shipped by 10/24. New ETA is 11/5. How accurate are the ETA dates?
Amazing. Just amazing. Truly, very happy for you! That's great. The rest of us, while happy for folks like you, just shake our heads in amazement and frustration.
Your best bet is to talk to your dealer, with whom you hopefully have a good relationship. They have access to better information than we can get.

Hey all. That truck I posted yesterday where they said they had a sale pending… customer didnt buy so I’m going to go check it out. It’s missing the Multi Function Tail Gate and Tow Mirrors I have on mine. If I decide not to get it I’m happy to share. Will keep you posted. 2025 Black Tungsten.

Thanks for the update! maybe the stars are aligning for you.
Not for nothing, but maybe ask about the cost of getting the MFT and mirrors added. Just a data point if nothing else.
