2025 Ram 1500 Order Updates

Still zero movement for Tungstens on the e shop. Weird.
Are you using the E-Shop webpage? The numbers there don't seem to match what Anthony posted. That shows 216 total Tungstens, in all categories. Of those, 48 are "in stock." 6 are "in stock sale pending." 87 are "being built" and 45 are "being built-sale pending." The rest are combinations of sale pending and in transit. Is there a more accurate data source?

I'd love to see them start to move.

Yup that's what I'm using. Literally no movement for maybe 7-10 days. I heard on Reddit that they had a very small layoff at SHAP for summer hires but can't imagine that's the issue... Unless they laid off the person updating the e shop 😂

I saw the WARN notice for TSAP (Jeeps) - 1,100 layoffs. Overall Stella is not having a good year.

Has anyone ever seen a estimated delivery day come earlier than when it says on the tracker? We have a Limited being built and its already in F - paint (which we were shown by our dealer) but it says estimated delivery date on the tracker is January 20th, the tracker also only says it is "in production". So not sure if there is a disconnect there? Only asking as we need to purchase it this year which our dealer understands if it is not here then we will purchase something else, but, they keep reassuring us that it should be here this year as other Limiteds they have ordered have come in quite quickly.

Seems to be pretty hard to come by at the moment. When I was searching for a Tungsten a few weeks ago, there were only 3 available in SD, ND, IA, MN, WI, and IL. I got lucky and the one in SD was about how I would have ordered it, so I drove out and picked it up!

Wow, good for you! That was luck. How'd you do on price?

My Tungsten order (placed 7/5/24) has now flipped to in production as of last Friday.

'In production': 11/6/2024
'Estimated Delivery': 1/20/2025

Unfortunately I had to pull the goalie and couldn't wait any longer so I bought a GMC Denali Ultimate (and already have over 3,000 miles on it). For anyone in the Kansas City area, this would be a good build to swoop in on. I can share more details if anyone is interested.

Thanks much for the update. What did your build sheet look like?

So what do you think of the Ultimate?

Here's the build. If memory serves, I selected every feature that was available at that point in time. (For example, one of the colors wasn't available, nor was the 2kwh power option.)

Re: the Denali Ultimate - I really do like it. I do a decent amount of highway driving and GM's level 2 autonomous driving really is the best in class. I had a F-150 Platinum and a Rivian R1T and the GMC's self driving does beat both of those. I have the 6.2L V8 and I'm getting 19-21 MPG on highway driving, which actually surprises me. I kind of tend to have a lead foot.

That's quite a build! Someone is going to get a very nice truck.

You're getting great mileage with that engine! Wow. Probably much better than you'd get with the RAM HO.
From what I've read, the SuperCruise is the undisputed king of the hill. Glad you're enjoying it!

Ordered July still sitting in "D"......my wife now punishes me with the song from En Vogue..."Never Never Gonin' to Get it"....

My Granger order from February...that is still sitting in "D" as well....

No real updates on my end, got a message from the dealership yesterday saying they are checking it everyday. Supposedly in JS status so still waiting to ship. Can't seem to get a build sheet or window sticker from the website people have mentioned though, so that has me a little suspicious. Ram Tracker is useless it seems.

Definitely frustrating. No communication at all on the delays or what to expect.
I went to look at colors last weekend, just to torture myself. The forged blue and granite crystal can be found on Laramie and below. Still restricted for Limited and Tungsten. I'm not sure how they defined "late availability" .... but it seems to be getting pretty late.

Local dealer had a 2024 Ram 2500 that caught my eye. Limited. Granite crystal with night edition. very close to what I'd want. Just have to justify that extra cost for diesel fuel.

If it makes you feel any different, I'm in the exact same position. My truck was built at the beginning of August and still hasn't shipped yet.

I have to believe there is an issue with quality or some other technical issue that is why they won't release these trucks. Or build new ones. I can't explain the few that have been built and are supposedly delivered (or close to it).

I'm in the exact same JS situation, but the tracker still lists as "being built".

I'm not going to post it unless you all want to get pissed off from reading it, but I got an email from Ram support regarding the status of my order and it was riddled with typos and just as useless as what everyone else stated.
