2025 Ram 1500 Order Updates

Agree. It seems like it should just be FIFO. It shouldn't matter where the orders come from, they should just be filled as they come in. If MD kills it and gets more in, then good for them. I hope there isn't some sort of woke policy in play that's trying to spread this around.
I ordered mine July 1st. Not October. Also. The sales manager told me wait until after November 13th anyway for better incentives than there are right now. They are probably waiting until they get a specific line up and running for the tungsten models. Them knock out a bunch.

I tried to customize my search and figure out how they release these trucks. I couldn't find why some trucks are ahead of the others. I have ordered a BMW for my wife, they are way better than RAM. When I send them an email couple of weeks ago they told me that It will go to production on Week 43 and it exactly happened.

Yes, looking at doing the same.

Finally heard from my salesman. He sent me the printout to show that mine is now JS-shipped to storage with an estimated ship date of today. I'm sure that won't hold but he said he will be checking daily for me(we'll see if he follows through). I doubt it will show before the 12th when the incentives change, if it does I may just be unavailable until after that date to take possession.

Here’s hoping you’re right!

I also wonder if they are spreading the wealth to the different dealerships. With so many orders coming from Mark Dodge, I'm wondering if they are making sure to sprinkle in some orders from other dealerships to not show favoritism. Definitely an odd situation. However, I could see dealerships in other areas getting pissed at Ram if all they are fulfilling is one dealerships orders. With he volume that Mark Dodge does, they could dedicate an entire plant to it.
They're scheduling methodology does seem very chaotic and no one has been able to make heads or tails of it. I have a feeling it seems chaotic because there are multiple factors that go into it. Foundationally they need to be able to efficiently run whatever trim level it is that they want to manufacture so they go through a ramp up phase. They also need to have the parts. After that it seems that dealers do have allocations and that they're trying to mix sold orders with dealer stock. They also appear to try to batch trucks of the same color etc. As well as trucks needed to fill the same rail car so delivery location also seems to play a factor. Scheduling as complex as this requires the right software and a very effective team to implement the software. This could be as simple as stellantis not investing in software capable of doing what they need it to do.

Tldr I would bet money that stellantis needs a major software overhaul

The incentive date of November 12th is irrelevant, will be exactly the same on the 13th.
The only reason for the mid-month expiration date is that they're changing the regions.

Good to know, thanks Anthony for chiming in. Wish I would have known about Mark Dodge when I decided to order, I definitely would have gone through you. At this point, I'll be waiting to see if they can come anywhere close to what you all offer. If so, we'll get the deal done. If they can't I'll probably be reaching out to start the process over and just go directly with you all.

Awesome! Looking forward to delivery day I expect? I know I am. If you get a minute, put your signature line with your build stats so everyone knows your progress and what you ordered.
I call my dealer each week to get update and they look it up in their system. Last week my truck was in Minnesota, today in Texas on its way to Oregon. Other option is to go to Ram website FCA RAM and in lower right corner is "Chat" start chat selecting Other then type in Advocate when prompted to do so and follow prompts, ask specifically for status code. The codes are explained somewhere in this forum, search for them. FYI I tried calling customer service and start a chat but apparently Stellantis is on holiday today, WTF??? They are worst than government employees and I was one for many years. My dealer said after the strike they are now working 4 days a week.

My dealer said that the highest incentive(s) that were introduced between the time I placed my order to when I pay for the truck is what I will be receiving. Has anybody actually had that happen to them or is it just some sales B.S.???

It's what ever it is at the time you get your truck.

It is either the incentives at the time you ordered or at the time of delivery, at least that is what I was told by Mark Dodge. In my mind that is more than fair.

Guess I have to make a correction. My status is back to D. I just chatted with customer care. Of course they won't give any other information. I honestly think they don't have any other information. It's just in limbo.

According to the e shop, none of the Tungstens appear to have any movement for like a week. Weird.

Yep. I ordered my RAM in February and ordered by wife's bmw two weeks ago. Her BMW will beat my truck to my door. BMW rocks their custom orders.

If ordered executed correctly, you should have the option between using a qualifying date of the date of order (on your POC) or date of delivery (date you actually financially purchase the vehicle). 99% of rebates are lockable and would work in this method.

However, there are a thousand ways to get burned, so many dealers - will instead say "whatever it is when it shows up" and I don't blame them. Sometimes the customer mis-understands something, other times Ram makes it complicated, etc.

What DEFINITELY does not work, is a random date in between.
Lets say you order 11/5, you've got a $4K national rebate on a tungsten.
In december, they do a Merry Christmas Tungsten $6K Rebate
Then you receive on 2/14 and there's a "Happy valentines Day $5K rebate).
You choose between 11/5 and 2/14. You do not get Christmas

Thank you for confirming that. My dealer said the same thing and I am glad that you are aligned. I'm locked in with the incentive from July when I ordered it but they said I can get whatever incentive is when I purchase it. Oddly enough, they said even if its near an end of the month and I wished to wait a few days to see what new incentive would be, I can do that as well. Very cooperative. I most likely will wait until after Nov 12th but if it gets here I am not going out wait until Dec 1st. I understand there may be no difference from Nov 12th to the 13th but I have nothing to lose. Dealer says its in KZ P status coming on rail car. Thoughts?

Well the only issue with waiting into a following month, if they allowed that, is that you cannot go back. So if rebates get lower, or in a different fashion from what you qualified for, you can't revert back to the month you liked (but you could revert back to order date). While the normal pattern is for rebates to improve, they can change in ways that may not be your cup of tea in a micro level.

To be eligible for sold order protection (and have access to your locked in order date rebates) the vehicle must be purchased within 14 days of arrival to dealership according to Stellantis program rules.
For Mark Dodge orders specifically, we require the transaction to be completed within 5 days, in order to retain your same deal.
