2025 Ram 1500 Order Updates

Here's a snapshot of the master build sheet for Tungsten.

So maybe it’s there and I didn’t know it. But on all the reviews, and hands on that I’ve seen on YouTube and other videos make no mention of the truck’s Auto Parking feature which leads me to believe that it’s not there. I have seen, however, the Auto Trailer Steering but you still control the gas pedal.

I'll try to upload the entire thing.
Of course, this might've been updated since earlier this year.
I just verified that parksense is still listed as a standard safety feature on the tungsten.

I think we may be confusing two things. Parksense exists on my 2017 RAM and is just the sensors that beep when parking. Thats been around for years and should be standard on everything in my opinion. I'm talking about the autopark feature. In their genius, they named that Parksense automated parking and parksense automated parking w/stop.

This is from a different forum, but along the lines of what I recall reading about autonomous parking. Not trying to put words in Anthony's mouth, but just more to make me wonder if this is the issue. Maybe with the tungsten's it's not, but the autonomous parking is not listed on any of the window stickers of the ones I'm seeing show up on the lots.
Call your dealer ASAP.
We received a memo that they MUST change Level 1 A69 to Level A A79 just yesterday morning.
This is why all the later orders, who had Level A, are getting scheduled before the earlier orders, Level 1.
The only difference is the autonomous parking was removed from Level 1, creating Level A.
At first they were going to allow customers to wait for it to become available, but then the instructions changed to "cancel the item or cancel the order" essentially.

It's still listed as a standard feature on their website and appears to have been available for a couple of years based on a YouTube video I found.

Yet there is this......

While a lot of what he says may indeed be bad luck with that particular truck, he specifically says he noticed last night that it does not have it on a Tungsten that he took delivery of in September.

I've been digging around grasping at straws trying to figure out why there might be a delay. I can't see my build sheet even though the dealership is telling me it is in JS-Storage and the tracker shows it's still being built. I'm starting to wonder if they ordered mine with the self parking feature and that is the delay since I'm seeing other Tungstens hit the showroom floor that are identical to my order except for that feature. Seems like that may be a software issue and maybe they are building them and throwing them in storage until that gets worked out so they can flash a software update and ship them out. Seems like that was an advertised feature that was supposed to be standard and then got changed. Seem to remember a posting from April where someone was told if they had an order in before that, they needed to change their order as that went from an included option to an additional option. Wish they would come out and give us details as I am more than capable of parking the truck by myself. Then again, I'm more than capable of carrying my keys with me but the phone as key feature would be convenient and I was looking forward to that too(also not working yet).
I wish there was some actual reason why trucks ship and others don't. Long story short is I ordered 2 identical trucks from 2 different dealers and one built and shipped in a month. The other built and is sitting in storage for almost 3 months now. There is no physical reason why one would ship and the other wouldn't.

Teeps NE -- Don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to argue with you. Devil's advocate maybe... just trying to make sure we get it right here before we ask anyone "official." I think the Level 1 vs. Level A issue was with the Limited trim, and not Tungsten. That might be part of the issue here.
I remember seeing a video not long ago of a dealer demonstrating the park assist on the 2025. I honestly think I could've done a better job myself.... but there are times it might be neat to have. But the bottom line is --- if for some reason that feature is holding up my truck, I'd gladly tell them to can it.

Oh, your definitely trying to argue with me!!! I kid of course.

Everything I post is speculation based off internet research as Ram hasn't said anything. So, take it all with a grain of salt. I agree that it was intended to be standard and know that they had it working on previous model trucks. The one person that gave his review of the Tungsten he received mid-January said it did not have it. Add that to the change of orders and I wonder if they pulled it as a standard option for the tungsten with intentions of adding it back in as a standard feature in the late edition. Again all speculation. For all I know, my truck is sitting in storage because they don't have enough vehicles coming this way, or maybe the paint mix was wrong, or a myriad of other things. Hell, my wife could be working behind my back to arrange it to arrive on my birthday(she's sneaky like that).

I heard that all our trucks are at the dealership and they're waiting for Thanksgiving to give us the trucks and a complimentary turkey for waiting so long. It's a surprise, of course. 🦃

I needed that laugh! thank you. I hope my wife is planning to get me the truck by Christmas. :).

I think it's good that you're looking for possible reasons for this craziness. First rule of brainstorming is that "there are no bad ideas." We just need to keep throwing stuff at the walls and seeing what sticks. There has to be *some* reason why some trucks are being built and delivered ahead of others ordered months before. Parts availability is an obvious one, but not sure that's the issue here. Next is quality issues. This might be possible.... it seems like there were serious issues with the March builds (not sure they've been fully addressed yet either). I'm open to anything at this point. Just want Stella to be a little more transparent.

That explains the Black Friday special!! You can take that $1000 you saved straight to Bass Pro Shop where they'll double your down payment on a new bass tracker boat to tow behind your Ram!! Offer is only valid between 4-6am (door buster deal)!!

In regards to the parking items - it IS significantly confusing.

PARKSENSE FR/RR PARK ASSIST W/STOP (XH4) is the yellow bars, aggravated beeping, that I have even on my lowly '24 Bighorn.
PARKSENSE AUTOMATED PARKING SYSTEM (XPM) is the "Lord Take the Wheel"

Back in mid-summer, we were told that Limited Level 1 was changing to Limited Level A and the removal of that XPM.
At the same time, we were told we had to remove any of the 2kW inverters on ALL trims.
I had assumed, at the time, that Tungstens were also subject to the XPM change - I may have even said that here somewhere. But looking back in the memos, it's unclear.

At this point, since many Tungstens are out there in the wild, I would highly suggest relying on ACTUAL user feedback - not what you can find in the google. The window sticker will never have everything that the truck has. The "standard features" listed on ramtrucks.com will never be up to date. The build & price is certainly not up to date. Since the Tungsten didn't have any packages that would have included this, they should all be the same, since they didn't start building until deep into July it's not like there was opportunity to have half and half.

As far as what holds up a vehicle in storage it can be a number of things, and NOT necessarily something that has anything to do with YOUR specific vehicle. Kind of like getting stuck in traffic because someone else broke down on the side of the road, but they were real good looking so everyone slowed down. And then a few people bumped into each other. And then the drawbridge opened. And then you had to stop for gas, because you idled so long. And then got hungry. ok you get my drift :)

just... awesome. thank you!

Did the incentives just go up? I just "built" a Tungsten on RamTrucks and the total didn't look right to me. then I saw this :

edit: needed to expand the options. now I understand. must take delivery by 12/2. I wish I could!!

Yes. Incentives went up $1k. We were told by a dealer rep it’s regional and won’t go up after 11/13 but did by $1k as you have above. Guess he was wrong. Only $1k but better for us for sure.

I can't imagine they go up by anymore. This is making them super competitive. Just hoping they stay there until deliveries happen.

Side note... If I cancelled my order and reordered, is be -1,000+5,000= $4,000 off my original.

Should I do it? Might be 2030 before I get the Tungsten tho...

Yes. Ha. Between what I negotiated and the incentives, I am just under 15% below MSRP sticker price. I am ok with that.

Yup we were told explicitly on 12/1 that ALL rebates were ending 11/12 because of the restructuring from 9 business regions to 5 and that ALL existing rebates would be renewed.

Then, this morning, they posted the "black friday" on most vehicles. (nothing for HD)

My Rebel has shipped so I am trying to get ready to make the deal. How much is the dealer hold back? I have seen anything from 1-3%. Does it depend on the dealer?
