2025 Ram 1500 Order Updates

Thank you. They said I could wait a few days no problem but never said within 14 days. I don't foresee waiting longer than 14 days anyway. I'm ready to purchase and enjoy already. lol

Hi all,

I recently ordered a tungsten on the 31st of October. When should I expect my truck to come in? Mark dodge told me it will come in by the end of December but after reading some posts on the thread. I am a little skeptical. How long did it take for you guys to go from D to D1

Welcome! This forum is a great resource.
I ordered in July, and I'm still in D status. Take that for what it's worth. I'd love to have my Tungsten by end of the year, but that seems highly unlikely.

Most of us have added and update our signature blocks on our postings with what info we are getting. So, you can look at that to get somewhat of an idea.

We have no idea how they are deciding what order hey are made in. @Ramboy13 ordered way before me and is still in D status(which is scheduled). I ordered in early October and mine is made but sitting in storage. The RamTracker still shows mine as in production, so don't count on that as being accurate.

Some of these wait times seem like forever, but I don't believe they really started full production of the Tungstens until September, so people that ordered back in February had a much longer wait just due to production not starting up.

As others have said, Welcome to the waiting room!!

You're getting crabby like @Pikeman_66 did. Then once he got his truck he stopped posting because he liked it so much and forgot 😂😂
I'm still here guys, life has dumped on me the last few weeks my wifes brother passed unexpectedly then the next week her Dad fell at home and we had to put him in nursing home for 2 weeks. those 2 weeks we had to basically redo his whole apartment and make it safer for him. so I haven't had much time to be on the boards. so far though, all good with my truck except for the little one offs.
but mechanically fine no lights no misses. I have not been able to get it out of the garage though for 2 weeks because they are redoing my street, I have a huge gap between my drive and the street.

Yup.. My truck seems to still be stuck in Scheduled (D or D1 Status)… Although Customer Care told me it was in E last week. So not sure what to believe. At any rate, I decided to stop waiting. LOL. I had been thinking about going the EV route and was looking to wait for the Ramcharger originally, but seeing how it was delayed and not sure when it would start production I opted for the Tungsten order. Prior to the Ramcharger I had looked at the Sierra EV…. As luck would have it, randomly looking online Sunday I saw a 2025 Sierra Denali EV available at the dealer down the street.. I walked in Monday morning and walked out with the new purchase. I’m confident that GM has the EV build right as they’ve been at it for some years now. Good luck to everyone and hope the wait times come down.

I did speak with my salesman at Ram and I can get my deposit refunded… Picking that up tomorrow. If anyone is interested in the truck whenever it comes in or is built let me know and you can contact my salesman. Abez Redwood, 770-560-2195. He’s out of Lawrenceville, GA.

Truck Build is a Black Tungsten, Multi-Function Tailgate, Off Road, Trailering packages, towing tech, towing mirrors, engine block heater, bed utility, etc. It was ordered on October 4th, Scheduled on October 10th… However, still showing TBD for Production.

If ordered executed correctly, you should have the option between using a qualifying date of the date of order (on your POC) or date of delivery (date you actually financially purchase the vehicle). 99% of rebates are lockable and would work in this method.

However, there are a thousand ways to get burned, so many dealers - will instead say "whatever it is when it shows up" and I don't blame them. Sometimes the customer mis-understands something, other times Ram makes it complicated, etc.

What DEFINITELY does not work, is a random date in between.
Lets say you order 11/5, you've got a $4K national rebate on a tungsten.
In december, they do a Merry Christmas Tungsten $6K Rebate
Then you receive on 2/14 and there's a "Happy valentines Day $5K rebate).
You choose between 11/5 and 2/14. You do not get Christmas
AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH we don't get Christmas.......... ;)

Anthony thanks for the clarification, you are very helpful with understanding this whole process. If I was back in your neck of the woods I would drop off a nice bottle of Bourbon to say thanks. 🥃

All us buyers want is dealers being up front and honest with information and pricing to help set expectations so there are NO surprises when we pick up the truck.
