Oh, you mean to get to the harness for the sensors? Well, my truck didn't come with passive entry, I added it later. I'm not sure on how to get to it.There's a plug from the rear harness, that goes into a module behind the rear license plate that is not accessible.
Awesome - thanks! This thread is actually set up pretty well to help from having to sort through all 63 pages. On page 1 of this thread there is a PDF that walks you through the process. Post 2 should be the situation you have and explains what is needed for parts.
Only the TRX has the correct HCU/ABS.I have a 2021 Rebel with FCW and AEB. I have begun the process of adding ACC and would like to check before I get too far down the rabbit hole. I've already added the steering wheel control buttons and bought alfaobd. Currently, I am waiting on the security bypass cable to arrive. Attached is a photo of the HCU in my truck now. Is there any way to tell if this unit is correct, or will I absolutely have to swap it to enable this feature?
You need to go to the dealer to have it taken out of plant mode.So I completed the adding the ACC and FCW to my 2020 Ram 1500. Since I had everything hooked up prior to my windshield being replaced the glass installer calibrated the system. Now instead of getting the "Front radar sensor plant mode" message it now says ACC needs to be serviced. My Ram dealership can't get me in till next week. Anyone else had this issue and is there anything I can do to correct it?
The ACC feature is available on other trim levels besides the TRX. There are so many different part numbers available for these two parts. Is there anywhere to find out which exact part numbers are capable of this feature?Only the TRX has the correct HCU/ABS.
Part numbers are listed in the first post. The ACC feature is available on other trim levels besides the TRX. There are so many different part numbers available for these two parts. Is there anywhere to find out which exact part numbers are capable of this feature?

Can you repost the information on this, I am unable to find it in the previous posts. Thanks,Yes, it can be added. I did it. All the information is above.
It's towards the top.Can you repost the information on this, I am unable to find it in the previous posts. Thanks,
Like I said it is listed at the top of the thread. You can use search and just search this thread for all the posts. If I get time, I'll see if I can compile everything. You do not need surround view for this. It uses the sonar sensors in the bumper.I have successfully completed the process of adding the full Advanced Safety Package to my truck and it works great!! Thanks to all that have contributed on this message blog. My next project is to add the ParkSense Active Park Assist since my new center stack already has the button for it. Can anyone on this blog tell me what all I will need to accomplish this and if it can be done without the 360 degree camera option? Thanks in advance for any and all help!!
Thank you MannyN and Vincentw56 for the information, I really appreciate it. Once I get all the parts installed, can someone tell me what all needs changed in the configs? I have alfaobd to make the changes. Thanks again!Don't forget, you will need the new center stack with the button. If you are doing the full ACC as in this thread, then you will have it.
The wiring harness in the back isn't too hard to remove. You will want a trim tool so you can remove all the little push in connectors that hold it to the body. The new harness comes with them already installed. Also, the new harness has tape on the end leads that connect to the two outboard connectors.
It is possible that you may not need any sensor for the front. I am not 100% sure on this, but I think if you have the six sensors in the front, you are good to go. The reason I say this is because I hadn't replaced the sensors yet and I had no errors. I did replace them and if it weren't such a PIA to get to them, I would remove and try it again. I have tested this several times and it works great. I showed it to several people, and they were amazed. I will say the first time it did it, I was concerned on how close it comes to the cars when parking until it straightens up.
If anyone has any questions on these, just let me know. Thank you for following up with this @MannyN . I was going to put this together this weekend since I did it last weekend.
More info needed. What year and trim? Did you already have a DASM?I have bow completed all hardware installations (steering wheel buttons, abs module, and hcu with part numbers from the first post) and have followed the instructions to the letter. The brakes have been bled, codes cleared, and followed ABS bleed procedure. After all this, I still get the pictured errors. Could someone please advise if there may be something I'm missing? The only feature that I am trying to gain is ACC.
Thanks in advance,
Jay
