Welcome, they are a little behind on tungsten’s but I really think you won’t have to wait as long as some of us have. I to came across this forum shortly after I ordered my Limited. There is a wealth of knowledge here and then members are very helpful as well.I'm pretty new in this forum and RAM. But I'm glad that I usually search in google before doing anything, and found this forum with lots of great information. I just ordered mine (Tungsten) and received VON. I'm going to wait and check on RAM website for couple of month!
Costum order 2025 RAM 1500 Tungsten
Ordered: 09/25/24
Confirmed: 09/26/24
Thanks. It becomes a routine of my afternoon to read and learn here.Welcome, they are a little behind on tungsten’s but I really think you won’t have to wait as long as some of us have. I can't imagine it won't stay at $4,000 for at least a couple of months, or until sales measurably increase versus the competition. They are under significant pressure to increase sales for a variety of reasons. I'm thinking that it's to the point that they're going to begin compromising margins for share/revenue due to all the UAW issues, search for a new CEO, etc.Sure hope the extra $1000 goes into next week. I hope to get mine for Thursday or Friday.
I just picked up my Limited Night Edition on Monday. Same truck. I love it. The black is a beauty -- getting the windows tinted Saturday and wider tires on Monday. Will also post pics afterwards. There is hope! Ordered my Limited Night Edition on January 6 and finally took delivery of it last night around 9:30 PM. What's amazing is that it left MD on Tuesday morning of this week. That was fast! In spite of some hiccups with STLA along the way, my experience with MD/Anthony has been awesome and dare I say the best car buying experience we've had.
This truck looks and feels amazing almost making me not want to defile it by touching it! Time to plan next steps and learn all about it.

Honest I don't know. I had read good things about XPel before I went that direction in 2018. I'll be sticking with them for this one. I know they offer both 7mm and 10mm thicknesses for theirs, with I think 10mm being the one recommended for the outside of the vehicle.
XPEL | Paint Protection Film | ULTIMATE PLUS | Self-Healing Clear Bra | High Gloss PPF
The world's first self-healing clear bra just got better. XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS is the glossiest, longest lasting, and most durable paint protection film available.www.xpel.com
I've had PPF on a few trucks, but have had it torn by large rocks. IMO, its well worth it, even with the tear mine had (the paint was still untouched).
When did they up it from 3k?Sure hope the extra $1000 goes into next week. I hope to get mine for Thursday or Friday.
I just did the front end - hood, fenders, and bumper. I used XPEL on one truck, another brand on two other ones. It went on clear and unnoticeable. It's been a few years, but I was just under a grand to get it done. At $2500 I'd have passed (I was trading in trucks every other year with 60k miles at that point). I do not have it on my current Limited, but she's barely driven...@ 202snowman

I've decided to do PPF to my new black RAM Limited Night Edition and have a couple of questions after speaking with a local PPF installer.
How much of your trucks did you have PPF applied too? The high-impact areas (front) or the entire vehicle? I'm torn (pun not intended) in that I'd ideally want to do the whole vehicle but man, that is $6500+, or just doing the high impact areas for around $2500.
There are a few Expel options. Which version did you use?
Is there reduced shine with PPF applied compared to the original paint?
I did something similar as fire cadet on my truck, just the front bumper area and the front door or so on the hood and side panels. No way I personally would spend $2500 on that. The Rochester NY xpel dealer advertises $950 for the bumper package, although I'm guessing slightly more for the truck. I haven't contacted them yet as Ram can't seem to ship the damn truck for some stupid reason...still sitting in the transportation lot for 3 weeks now.I just did the front end - hood, fenders, and bumper. Couldn't quickly find pics of my Ram getting it done, so here's it on my F150.

I tried to find my dealer on their site and don't see them. I'm guessing my dealership uses another company. Too bad. I would bet your truck is taking a train ride first before it gets a delivery truck. I think about 250 miles is about max for a direct ship from Detroit by truck.Mine shipped on Sept 14th and is traveling 11 hours (by truck). Still no hide or hair of her either....
