The Sterling Heights area has got to be swimming with trucks parked all around. Typically, JB would be a 2-3 day process for most trucks (step bars, spray in liner, etc).My Tungsten went into production on 7/25 and is currently in status JB at the body vendor getting its bedliner and other accessories installed that the assembly line does not handle. Hoping for a shipping date soon. BTW the RAM website we can all access still has a October 14th delivery date for my truck.
The estimated ship date doesn’t mean that’s when it starts to get shipped from the plant to the dealer, it means that’s the estimated date it will “ship” off of the assembly line. So yours could probably start production about the 10th or 11th.As of today, my order was placed May 9th, scheduled for production July 9th, and still no build date. My dealer is saying it has a ship date of 8/12 but they are unable to see if it's actually being built. I ordered a 25 Laramie. When I contacted Customer Service, they stated that the tracker was down, again, and they were going to escalate this case.
Appreciate the clarification. Hopefully the estimated ship date holds true and it ships 8/12.The estimated ship date doesn’t mean that’s when it starts to get shipped from the plant to the dealer, it means that’s the estimated date it will “ship” off of the assembly line. Likely due to a build issue or QA hold. Not sure if there is a separate code for "QA Hold" or if it's just shipped to storage.Heard back from my dealer… my truck has been shipped to storage and the estimated ship date has not been updated from 8/5. Not exactly sure what that means.
Some times they just do man..... some times they just do.Likely due to a build issue or QA hold. Not sure if there is a separate code for "QA Hold" or if it's just shipped to storage.
IMO, they have to have a reason for the truck to be held and not shipped out immediately...
yours hits production before mine, Mine was ordered in January and other than the 22s they are identical basically right down to the color.I’ve had my latest on order for a while and wound up here..
I ordered a Delmonico Red Limited 6’4’ With pano sunroof, trailer tow group and 22” wheels.
my current is a 21 big horn night 6’4’ Crew, and before that my 2018 max steel Tungsten.
lookin forward to being back in a Limited for retirement…
couldn’t wait for the forged blue…and this wait, well, this makes the 3rd ordered Crew in 6’4’ bed.
The letter I got last night included this sentence:yours hits production before mine, Mine was ordered in January and other than the 22s they are identical basically right down to the color.
I got a cheesy email last night, blah blah blah we see your 1500 is waiting on production. same old excuses. I am beyond frustrated at this point.
this whole order with Ram has been 1 large joke. sure not what I was expecting in January.
thats a new one to me !The letter I got last night included this sentence:
"Features such as the, sky one touch, there are specific times in the build process where they will not be available."
Can anyone decipher what it means?
That's a feature on the Jeep Wrangler but I don't think it applies to the Ram.The letter I got last night included this sentence:

More proof of how on point Stellantis is...The letter I got last night included this sentence:

You know when you're contacting customer care at this size of a company you're talking to an AI bot, or worse, a human performing as an AI bot with scripts and scripts of copy/paste.More proof of how on point Stellantis is...
Mine has been in JS status since 8/5Dealership updated me today. My truck is now "JS Status" still says estimated ship date of 8/15. Nothing updated on the Ram tracker. I also should be able to enter the VIN now I think bit keeps saying not found. So she should be built!
EDIT: Forgot to mention the dealership also sent emails to their rep at the factory about it to "hopefully speed up the process" or even get better more direct information hopefully.
