2025 Ram 1500 Order Updates

I was all proud of myself for being patient, but 16 weeks and back into D... I'm not so proud anymore :ROFLMAO: Hopefully you get yours before you get to the spot I'm at - irritated to the point that I want to cancel my order (but won't, of course) due to horrible customer service and what feels like bait and switch (related to lead times).
No. I would have lost my patience a long time ago if I was in your position. It would be very frustrating.

Has anyone been able to cancel their order and get their deposit back? I ordered a Tungsten back in February. I was communicated to once that it went to "D" status and there it has remained with no communication, no status update, no nothing. This is ridiculous. I would like to cancel my order which was through Mark Dodge and get my money back so that I can go purchase a vehicle that I can actually get. My current truck, a '22 F150 Powerboost King Ranch has been great, but it is a company truck and I will be selling my company in September. The truck goes with the purchaser so I need to replace it. I loved the Tungsten, agreed to pay over $92K for it, but can't even get the courtesy of an update every once in a while. Not Mark Dodge's fault I know, but my first foray with Ram has not been good enough for me to continue down this path.

I ordered mine from Mark Dodge on Feb 15th. Mine went into production on July 26 and is presently listed as in inspection. It was supposed to be shipped on 8/5 but obviously that didn't happen. My salesman is on this forum. He is Anthony RI. He should be able to help you. Check with him, the window sticker on mine is $94,510 and my agreed price is less than $82,000.

What a special business model this is. I wish most of us had a clue about this joke earlier this year. As much as I think the Ram is better than options, I'm sure I would've gone a different route. I will be lucky to see my truck before Christmas. After they announce the 2026 models.
what Ramboy said for sure. I am scared to look anymore as its nearly impossible to believe anything coming from Ram. I wish now I had gone another route. what really frost my Bs is the fact they spent 3 months building trucks they had no buyers for. And are struggling to get those trucks out to the purchasers, no contact except for a Bot, the dealers know less than most of us on here know. it's just a complete **** show!!!

Got a few small "updates" today if you would even call it that.

I asked Ram Chat for maybe a few small update such as why the tracker is not updating. It has been in "production" for awhile now. They told me that it is "beyond the allotted time for this phase."

I also got an email today from "Heather" again! Lol. The only important part in the email is as follows.... the rest is all that normal BS filler they give us.

"I see your vehicle is waiting on inspection prior to release or until space available on carrier for shipping.

I am now reviewing this concern to assist with a quicker resolution. As soon as I have further information I will reach out to you, or every couple weeks if there are no changes."

Let us know when it ships. I think mine should be 10 days behind yours since I ordered ten days after you. :)

I joined the RAM RHO forum & Mark Dodge has over 300 RHO sold orders submitted and all are in D status with VIN numbers assigned. A few have already moved to D1 which is scheduled for production. A $1,000 non-refundable deposit is required before a customer order is submitted.

I had ordered my Ram 1500 Rebel towards the end of May and have yet to receive the VIN. Not sure what is going on but my dealership can't even get Stellantis to take my order still! I can only assume it is because of the advanced safety group from following this thread but I'm at a loss right now as I have no VIN to even track my order lol
I would try a different dealer. I ordered mine on 05 July and had an order confirmation on 08 July. VIN shortly thereafter.

Here's some interesting comments from a reddit post.
What is ZF and what makes it relevant to our discussion. Keep in mind, it may be related to a change in model year or they have excess inventory, or this is a part/supplier with quality issues.

ZF is the transmission manufacturer for the 8 speed.

ZF is the transmission.

ZF makes the transmission, a key element to the Ram 1500.

If Ram truly has that many built trucks in inspection status, it only makes sense that they'd slow or stop the production line...

My question what if that post meant 1,296 transmissions, or something less. in other words, do they supply 100 parts for each transmission, so it's 130 transmissions? I'm probably over-thinking this.

I think you are. I would assume that 1296 transmissions is the amount for a standard shipment, etc into SHAP. It sounds like SHAP doesn't want any more transmissions as they already have enough since they aren't building at rates they should be. I'm also guessing that 7000 was meant to mean the amount of trucks that have some type of issue that forced the trucks to go into I status (probably not all the same issue)

Wow - what a mess. I agree with you. I was just trying to think of something else that would make it not quite so bad. The stories of them putting all of these trucks into storage for months is just... insane. I really don't get it. The cost of this, both real and implied, must be staggering. Ram is in a downward spiral and they need to figure this out. Fast.

I recently took a tour of Ford's Dearborn plant (where they make 1,000+ F150s a day) and we walked past a QA parking lot (not sure if this was the only one). You could see writing on the trucks what their issue was (some said water pump, etc), and while the lot was full, there was only about 40 trucks in it.

Love my '19 Ram, but this clusterF launch of the 25s isn't good for Stellantis (nor for our resale values)!
