This just started happening to our 2020 1500. 3rd fill up now, takes like 10 minutes. Initially started when it was really cold so hoping it's related to that and once it warms up, the problem will go away, haha!
Odd thing I noticed (but never proved out) was leaving a USB stick in the drive (for music) seems to keep accessing when the truck is off. So I ensure I pull the thumb drive out every time...?
Yes, thank you for the input!. None of the above are true, no uneven ware, no pulling etc. Brakes seem fine. I will check the Cabin Air Filter as I do like Steak!
So, I go in for a winter tire swap. Service is taking longer than needed. I inquire. The Dealership says, "I'm just drawing up a quote"! I'm like a quote for what?
She says everything your vehicle requires. I say, no it's for a tire swap, she says Oh, OK, I'll get them to put the winter tires...
Hi, my 4 cents (inflation you know), we have a Kodiac Cub at 3300 lbs dry. Loaded, 2 propane tanks, Husky WDH, bikes in trailer, bed loaded with wood chairs extra gear, cab with adults, gear etc...
Never felt I was even close to capacity, as stated above, need a good WDH. I have mine riding...
Just wondering, doesn't the RAM manual (or other sources) say you MUST be driving at a low speed in order to switch to 4-low? Other modes, 2wd, 4-auto and 4 high can be switched at a stationary position (or while moving)?
thanks!
I had an odd rattle sound that seemed to kick in going in/out of 4th gear. For whatever reason I switched from (Canadian) 89 octane to 91 octane one day (towing). The rattle ceased and the engine seems to go into ECO more than before using 89. 91 is only 5 cents (per litre) more so I just run 91...
I like TuxMat myself, fit perfect and the deadpedal goes way higher than the weathertech I had in a previous vehicle. Seems to be a thicker material as well. My opinion of course.
I drive with the windows open ALL the time, never use AC (do live in Canada though) even hot days! In the winter, use heat sparingly and only once the traffic is cleared to not drive exhaust into the cab. Drives the Wife crazy!
I inquired about this 'sort' of thing early on and this is what I understand:
The RAM does not let any air through the vents when the climate system is OFF. I have generally confirmed this, first vehicle I've had that does this, which I'm OK with, no stinky car exhaust coming in.
That may help...
The Ridgeline's a good truck, we upgraded our trailer from tent to travel and was just a little too much for the V6! But the Honda saved my family's life as we ran into an EF4 Tornado and survived!
Thank you all for replying. It was a problem between "the driver" and the instrument controls. The dimmer was turned all the way down so when the lights came on, it went dark. I have been doing some night driving and full bright lights up the night sky!
