So, my bighorn did not originally have tilt in reverse option for mirrors, because I dont have driver memory stuff.
But I enabled the tilt in reverse options and now have tilt in reverse. However, this was years ago and I've had it disabled because they drop way too much.
Just discovered in...
Does anyone have a wireless carplay adapter that does *NOT* cause the radio screen to switch over to CarPlay on every start? Ie. I want it to stay in the main radio/media screen and not change to carplay screen unless I click on it.
I tried a few, but they all switch to carplay screen after a...
just sharing info with others in the group - recently picked up a 2021 steering wheel (with paddle shifters) and put it in my bighorn.
took all of 10 minutes. didn't need any special puller or tools. I used a small slotted screwdriver to put the airbag retaining ring, and a metal pick to pop...
I know infotainment has a pre-built package, but has anyone located part numbers for the power folding tow mirror (black) with blindspot indicator, defrost, and auto-dim?
mopar parts lists of different mirrors but obviously doesn't tell you which part number has XYZ.
maybe someone that has them...
I have a gas truck, but on the eco diesels, they are equipped with what is called a PTC Element, or Aux Cab Heater, which is electric and can help create heat to warm the cab quicker than the engine would normally want to heat up. Does anyone have an actual pic of one of these heaters?
Mopar...
Basically stock truck with highway tires, 22k miles, and I baby it. We had some snow here, in my driveway, started it up, pushed 4x4, and about a 50 feet later, marbles in coffee can. It’s been working great and smoothly up until now. No idea why this happened. Found some folks on the...
has anyone messed with disabling the rf hub overnight? there is a rash of thefts in my town right now, they are targeting Chrysler key-less fob vehicles..so far, they got a 19 Durango, 20 grand Cherokee, 14 grand Cherokee, and a couple chargers..one charger they stole twice..I've a suspicious...
I have the EPB light on, and abs module says “in plant mode”. Did the usual abs initialization using Alfa, doesn’t seem to want to come out of plant mode. Anyone else seen this?
I might have a goofed setting someplace..does anyone have a stock or mostly stock gauges log / read from alfa they can share? I want to stare and compare my bcm with yours and see if I might have an odd setting messed. If you have a bighorn with led/8.4c that's even better, but I'll take...
I've used rancho, rough country, and zone on 1500 trucks, and the weak-link on these kits is the tie rod ends. ranch was the worse, and actually used a new inner rod too, which was total crap. 10k of road driving, noticeable play. I ended up shortening a stock tie rod, re-threading it, and...
Nothing worked. Happened while driving. Couldn’t even shut motor off. Was going to try disconnecting battery to kill motor; but after a few minutes, the dash beep and everything “rebooted”.
anyone get this? Tried different pcm in case was diablosport, but has happened twice.
Decided on the new cooper 4s. Wanted to stay P, granted These are heavier load than the duelers (113 vs 115). Ride is quiet and smooth. Actually feels smoother over bumps in road than the duelers. Duelers had 20k. Started slipping around In rain. Anyone debating these tires go for it...
Title says it all! I'm looking for the quietest & smoothest riding tire I can put on my leveled truck. can't decide 275-60-20 or 275-65-20 or 285-60-20. my stock duelers are starting to get worn and slip in the rain a lot, and they look small for the truck anyway.
had destination at's on...
Can’t decide. Was between nitto g2, toyo at3, Bridgestone revo3. Bridgestone are the lightest at 52 and 54 lbs. I don’t want to murder my ride or mpg. G2 I can get in a xl which is like 47 lbs. but it’s my least favorite tire from the bunch.
Decided today's quarantine project would be tacking my headliner rattles. Most of this info I've gathered from various posts, so I put together my own fixed off my learnings of what I found on my particular truck.
First - the big rattle. passenger side, rear seat, the speaker - if you bump...
searching here and google ain't showing many ram 1500's with them. Thinking of 275-60-20. I had them on an older explorer, and they were quiet and great in the rain & snow.
