Similar smell for me but wasn't using the A/C... after using the heat all winter, now that it's warm enough to drive around with the heater off I am getting some VERY musty smells in the truck to the point I have to open the windows. I already returned a 2019 RAM because of water leaks...
Well had mine replaced last week finally and they look perfect now all around. How long will it last? Who knows. Now that they know exactly how to fix it though, shouldn't be as much trouble next time.
Not known to my dealer haha :)
The squeak on mine sounds the same as when I changed bushings on a previous car to higher performance ones... rubbery squeak constantly.
Incompetent is a nice way to put it...
Mine is back at the dealer right now actually - driving a loaner which has zero of the issues my truck has - so the dealer's theory about it being "normal" is out the window.
Hopefully they get the squeaking fixed because driving on a dirt road last...
These things have the lifespan of computer parts these days... if you always keep waiting for the new and improved version to come out you'll never own one. When I bought my 2015 truck I had the dealership sign on the bill of sale that the Carplay update would be released for the 8.4 system...
That's where my first truck leaked (also a quad cab) - dealer ended up buying the truck back since they couldn't find the leak source. They believed it was a missed weld during production and wanted to tear the dash apart.
My squeaks seem to be coming from the front end somewhere... really easy to reproduce when flexing the front end by going onto a bump with one of the front wheels (instead of both hitting it at same time). Could be cab mount I suppose. Dealer was able to reproduce it but once the truck warmed...
Well to no surprise the dealer didn't do anything... they didn't even install the ram box parts I have been waiting months for!
Dealer was able to reproduce the squeaks but couldn't find anything lose, so didn't do anything else. Great.
Are you sure? I am fairly certain I have used my Apple Watch w/cellular to start the truck a few times when my phone was in another building (I use my watch for most things).
This Guardian app is garbage though. It shows nothing compared to other manufactures (even Hyundai has a better one -...
I'm surprised you hear anything besides the tire noise with those things on! :)
Dropped mine off at the dealer this morning... hopefully they actually do something this time!
Reviving this older thread as I noticed my air susp Rebel recently started squeaking over bumps just like the OP. I had always had the front end clunking issues on larger bumps/dips, but just started noticing the squeaks as well and it's driving me crazy now.
Anyone successfully have this...
It's sad to see but if mine looked like that one in the summer heat I'd be perfectly ok with that. Right now mine looks like that, but in the summer heat it sits about 3/8-1/2" higher on the ends.
Don't see Destroyer Grey listed in the link... is it just under a different name but same colour like they do with other models? (like my Sting Grey Jeep)
I believe it IS the sun/heat causing the issue since now that it's winter here and consistently below 0, they are aligned perfect all around. I wish they would stay this way!
This sounds identical to the clunk I get from the front, passenger side. I have the air suspension on mine and if I leave it in normal mode, I can get it to clunk on potholes or going over speed bumps a tiny bit faster than usual. If I put the truck in aero mode, it won't clunk on those same...
I wish it solved my clunk but no luck. It happens 99% of the time when the wheel suddenly drops (ex a pothole, coming down a speed bump, etc). Even took the service manager out in it and demonstrated the issue to him but was told it was "normal". Ya, I'm sure! When I put the truck in aero...
