Water leak drivers side front floor board

I have a 2020 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie quad cab, 3200 miles. Carpeting is soaked only on the drivers side front. I have an appointment with the dealership tomorrow. I found a TSB (which I attached) on this issue and was wondering if anyone has an experience with them performing repairs in the TSB. I am pretty nervous about them removing the fender. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

That's where my first truck leaked (also a quad cab) - dealer ended up buying the truck back since they couldn't find the leak source. They believed it was a missed weld during production and wanted to tear the dash apart.

Is there any possible way you could send me the dealership and any other information such as may be a case number or any communications with Chrysler because I would love to have that done for my truck. Totally ridiculous situation. Thank you so much for your response

Yes. That was the fix for my leak. The dealer body shop did the repair because the fender had to be removed.

Noooo! sorry for your luck. Im taking it in on Wednesday. There is a TSB on it I will send it to you. I truly want them to buy it back, love the truck but what else is wrong. Keep me posted with what you find out.

Sad to say that I have the exact same problem. I just realized that the floor on my drivers side is completely soaked. It's one quality control problem after another with this truck. As much as I like it, this may end up being my final FCA vehicle. My next step is to go fight with the dealer to give me a loaner car when I schedule them to look at the truck. I refuse to pay for a loaner car for quality control issues and safety recalls (which I have had several).

@RamCares,

How is FCA still pumping out 2020 trucks with this issue? It's absolutely insane that no one at the factory is checking for this.
I am appalled at the lack of QC going on in your plants. No excuse whatsoever for trucks that have been in production for TWO YEARS.

Full Disclosure . . . I have NOT been "Kind" to Ram Cares in the past. However, as far as I recall (not far) this is the 1st time, that I've seen, a Ram Cares Personnel (Mark here) has made a somewhat Clear Concise Explanation as to WHAT these folks DO ! Thank You Mark . I haven't had the need to Check anywhere on the Forum to see if Ram Cares actually has a Dedicated Detailed Thread that Fully Explains the Ram Care Functions as far as the Forum Members Concerns go . Nor have I checked for a Ram Cares (or a Jeep Cares?) on the FCA-US websites -- perhaps I will after I'm done here . Again just a simple thanks to Mark .

Thanks Mark. I know you guys have a tough job and we all appreciate it.

It's just very frustrating to see so many people on this board with brand new trucks still having issues with leaks, brake squeal, cracked rear window bezels, etc.

I would be more "reassured," so-to-speak, if you (Ram Cares Rep's) could Further Explain what is meant by, "Proper Internal Teams" !?. How many "teams" are there that do the "Ram Cares Thing"? Mark, do you (can you?) explain to "Us" if there May be too much "bureaucracy" in the Processes (Loops) YOU may have to leap through ? That is without getting yourself into "trouble"? o_O ;) :) . Thanks, from all os us in advance, ha .
