Upgrade 2022 8.4 to 12 with Uconnect 5

I have looked but couldn't find anything. I bought a new 2022 Power Wagon a month ago. Love the truck. I wanted the 12 inch screen but they only had the 8.4. Truck was a great price so I went for it. Now I want to see about upgrading this little 8.4 screen to the 12 inch screen. I have seen others do it for the 19-21 with the uconnect 4 but want to keep the new uconnect 5. Has anyone tried this yet?

We are working on Uconnect 5 upgrade. Getting the parts to try it is the biggest issue right now. There are a couple of people working on it. There's already thread about it.

He has a '22 already so it might just be a screen swap and some programming.

Yep, already have the uconnect 5. What I don't know is if I just buy the 12 inch center stack, would my current module for the 8.4 work with the new 12 inch screen

I don't think your current module can handle the split screen function.

Hey guys HD guy here but following this thread asI’m getting ready to start the process of this upgrade. I bought radio module
68507350AB. This module powers the 8.4 w/nav and the 12.1” from what Jimmy07 has told me.

I purchased the module and screen new from dodge. Did the install and changed the configuration in alfoobd. I get music, AC but still black screen. This is for the 5c uconnect. I am not sure what to do next.

Ok so I got the screen to finally come on. I ended up trying 3 cables and the last one worked. The screen just did not want to work until last night. I sent jimmy07 the cable to see if he could confirm if it's bad or good. So I need to do an update but it seems to work.

What year is your truck? What system did you start with before the swap? What settings need to change in Alfa? I would like to do this also if possible, but I need to know what parts I would need. I have a 2022 base audio, 8.4” non nav uconnect5
