True or False: 2” Leveling Kit, w/ ORP?

I installed the ready lift leveling kit on my truck last week. I am experiencing some vibration/shimmy that is shaking the front end in 4wd auto and 4wd while accelerating from 0-40 mph. It was pretty bad yesterday, but today its not as prominent. The truck drives just like stock on 2wd. The shop I got the kit from said it could possibly be the cv axles at to much of an angle and suggested maybe dropping the diff down. This was just at a quick look, I am taking it in later this week to have it looked at in more detail.

Anybody else experience this? I do have the ORP as well.

The truck is sitting almost perfectly level, just 1/4" high in the rear.

Ready Lift 66-1921 will get you within a 1/2” front to rear.

I called ReadyLift and they told me that this kit was definitely compatible with everything that does NOT have air suspension. The rep indicated that the website is very confusing given that it states specifically that it's good to go for Rebel, but in the fine print below says not compatible with off road group. Not sure if you'd get a different answer if you speak to another rep.
I'm looking for a conclusive answer on this myself. Based on the ReadyLift rep and other users, I think I'm going to go with it for my 2019 Laramie with ORG.

There’s a group on here about the 3.5”. Basically not to be installed in the orp like you stated but someone on here said that you can run the 3.5” kit you just can’t include one of the front end pieces. That said if yours is the 2” leveling kit then that is odd.

Yes, I was referring to the 66-1921 kit with 2" leveling.
Below is the description from their website:

Not for use on air-suspension equipped trucks

The leveling kit with control arms is good for any Ram that is not air ride. Rebel or ORP trucks are both ok. It’s only the 3.5” SST kit that would be troublesome.

No problem. Unfortunately there is still a lot of misinformation and confusion out in these trucks. Luckily this forum has been able to straighten a lot of it out.
 
I Just Got the MotoFaB 2.5” installed on my big Horn
It rides Great better than expected
I see lots of people Replaced UCA’s
If I have a problem down the road I will I guess but as of now everything feels Great and Sturdy .

I reached out to RL about this myself as I am curious as well. Makes no sense why the rebel would be able to use this kit but not the ORP trucks. Regardless I have ordered the 2" level kit and plan to use just the UCA's with the bilstein 5100's.

To follow up: RL said this is an incorrect statement on the website. The only concern is if your center of hub to fender flare measurement exceeds 25” after you install the level kit your CV axels are likely out of spec and will have issues. This statement is probably supposed to be only on the 3.5” SST kit.

Just hope your problem down the road isn't literally a problem down the road. Snapped ball joints usually cause a lot of damage and can be really dangerous.

Yeah UCAs having a problem down the road isn’t something I’d want to deal with. Better hope for squeaks and not a snap!

I’ve been going back and forth on the motofab 2.5” on my orp truck. I’ve decided to go with the bilsteins max at the 2” level plus the mopar ucas. This gets me to within an inch front to back. Hopefully. We shall see what it looks like. I’m also running the 285/60r20 falkens.

With the ORP and bilsteins set at #5 (2") you should be within 1/2" to 1/4" of level.

Soooo I hope my tape measured is right But just measured the back at 40 1/4 and front at 37”. So I should get 1.25” in the end but some people are saying the 2” is really 1.75”. Either way it should look better. I hope!

I just installed the 5100s #5 setting (on the fronts only) yesterday on my BTS (so it has the ORP). The final measurements from the bottom of the wheel well openings strait down the center of the wheel to the ground are 39 & 3/4" at the front and 40" at the rear. The only other factor is that I have 275/60/20s BFG KO2s on the stock 20x9 rims. I have been taking these measurements to confirm the recall spring height and have noticed (obviously) a difference in height because of the fuel levels.

I haven't yet, but I will tonight. I did get some of the tape though.

Here are a few pics with some information, hopefully this might help.

- White letter on the tires are the stock Wildpeak AT 275/55/20 when I bought the truck.
- Top right (first pic)is the BFG KO2s 275/60/20 (still with the non ORP springs with a slight rub at full turn in reverse)
- (Not pictured) after the correct ORP springs were installed VIA recall, it eliminated the tire rub and I gained 1.25" at all four wheel well openings.
- Top left (first pic) was yesterday after the Bilstein's #5 setting (on the fronts only).

So now the BFG 275/60/20s look small, but imo there is definitely plenty of room to go with 285/65/20s.
