There isn't a definite answer on needing to replace the sensors. But you do need the outboard sensors in the rear. My posts tells you what you need.i recently purchased most of the parts to do the swap. the acc switch is currently on b.o. through fca forewarning y'all, lucky for me i have a not so pretty one to get me by for testing purposes . my local dealer friend said 9 in the country and only dealers have them. but can someone shed some light on the semi auto park? i know you need a new harness and valances after reading the 68 pages. i did not see a definitive answer on if you need 4 new park sensors for the rear or if the ones i have now will work. i ran a vin from a truck with the semi park/ fca/acc/lka and came up with part numbers 68404408ab and 68404409ab for the valences and 6860453ad for the harness. i checked the sensors and all 4 show to be different then my 2020 BH with factory front and rear park sensors w/ rear park sense. my vin is 1C6RREBT3LN128815.i ordered a used abs module from lkq that is due in later today supposedly from vin: 1c6srfjt0kn787071 and a used dasm from vin: 1C6SRFU95NN227812 due in hope fully the next day or two. lets see if lkq has them inventoried correctly. new trims and bracket for dealer, i ran the vin from the abs module and it shows the same part number for my factory BH rearview mirror so i believe i should be good on that as long its not a catalog error. I upgraded to UC5 on my truck a while back so i have a used screen coming for that not due until after Christmas. the last piece to the puzzle is the windshield and the install. cheapest i have found is safelite running at about 435 installed. list on a new one from the dealer is 1125.00 /part number 68275585ag part number pulled from same vin as abs module.
okay thank you. for future reference part number for valance piecesThere isn't a definite answer on needing to replace the sensors. But you do need the outboard sensors in the rear. My posts tells you what you need.
How did you get it to show up?So in the end it took a while but everything works as it should ... thank you very much for your help once again
Looks like you are at the same stage asi recently purchased most of the parts to do the swap. the acc switch is currently on b.o. through fca forewarning y'all, lucky for me i have a not so pretty one to get me by for testing purposes . my local dealer friend said 9 in the country and only dealers have them. but can someone shed some light on the semi auto park? i know you need a new harness and valances after reading the 68 pages. i did not see a definitive answer on if you need 4 new park sensors for the rear or if the ones i have now will work. i ran a vin from a truck with the semi park/ fca/acc/lka and came up with part numbers 68404408ab and 68404409ab for the valences and 6860453ad for the harness. i checked the sensors and all 4 show to be different then my 2020 BH with factory front and rear park sensors w/ rear park sense. my vin is 1C6RREBT3LN128815.i ordered a used abs module from lkq that is due in later today supposedly from vin: 1c6srfjt0kn787071 and a used dasm from vin: 1C6SRFU95NN227812 due in hope fully the next day or two. lets see if lkq has them inventoried correctly. new trims and bracket for dealer, i ran the vin from the abs module and it shows the same part number for my factory BH rearview mirror so i believe i should be good on that as long its not a catalog error. The rain sensor and high beam sensor are 2 different modules. The rain sensor will work no matter what windshield. The high beam will be replaced with the DASM. Your current high beam sensor is attached to your mirror. It will be removed when you put on the new mirror. Then the camera in the DASM will be used for high beams.Looks like you are at the same stage as
Me, got a used dasm and jimmy making me a harness, I want to assume that the high beam and rain sensor I currently have on my truck will attach the same to the new windshield, lucky for me when I upgraded to uc5 the lane on off button was installed. I think I will get the dasm pre cabled then get windshield replaced then work on trying to figure out the abs modules. Does your truck have high beam and rain sensor already installed
I got the windshield installed today. Played with trying to get the DASM hooked up, but for some reason cannot get it to communicate or I am assuming that it is not communicating. I have my power ran to pin number one ground ran to pin number Four can high on six and can low on seven. I could be flipping those two around. I am currently driving so cannot verify at the moment I should reach my destination in about a hour and a half. I will keep playing with it then but my question is is there any way to verify that the DASM is communicating? I am getting an adaptive cruise control message. ? I am getting a adaptive cruise control message and lane departure warning message as well as for collision warning message oh, and a service trailer brake model message.
You had the dealership run the alignment on the DASM, correct?OK, got to stopping point to double checked all my connections verified that I do have power and ground at the DASM verified I have can high going to Pin 6 and can low to pin 7 on the dasm I do not have any stored fault codes in the BCM. But still getting a ACC/FCW UNAVAILABLE SERVICE REQUIRED. KEEP IN MIND THESE ARE USED PARTS. I do not have the lane. Keep assist switch installed unfortunately that won’t be delivered until Thursday. The following day after Christmas is that what’s causing my messages so far? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Abs yes, align no. Unless I misunderstood the pdf thought it said I should only have the fcw off error. You had the dealership run the alignment on the DASM, correct?
Did you swap out the ABS/HCU module?
If you install a dasm on a truck that hasn’t had one, it’ll need to be aligned by the dealer.Abs yes, align no. Unless I misunderstood the pdf thought it said I should only have the fcw off error.

yes to both but not from the factory. The auto high beam use a different kinda light sensor that is attached to the rearview mirror if you don’t have fcw. If you do have fcw the dasm is used for it. I found some info out on used parts and part number be sure to check it out.Looks like you are at the same stage as

It’s never really been addressed, but another harness would need to be built for it. I would need you to look at some connectors to see if any/how much of the wiring for it is present.got everything all working today. while installing the plastic covers i noticed the windshield i got installed has lines for defrost like the back glass. what would be the process for hooking that up?

Most of the work is done through the wheel well (easiest to remove the liner, but not necessary), and through the top of engine bay. Really, the only thing I do from underneath is pull the wire harness tree off the bracket, and the last bolt off the bracket to pull the module out from underneath, and shove the new one back up there.Which method did people do for the hcu abs relacement, was it from the wheel well or from underneath
no to the fuse. looked at some diagrams from pro demand and the wire is ran from the fuse box but terminates in the connector for the headliner harness( on the left side of the dash cluster area)It’s never really been addressed, but another harness would need to be built for it. Is there a 10 amp fuse present in F41 of the engine bay fuse box?
