I have the same exact issue with my 2019 Limited 1500 40k miles

@RamCares is this something covered under warranty? Hope I didn't miss the boat at 40k miles...
Did you ever get this resolved? Mine is doing the exact same thing and I’ve taken into the dealership three or four times and they think I’m crazy because they can’t replicate the sound

Hello everyone! We have an update for you all. Recently a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) has been released that may address the vehicle concerns that you may be experiencing in regard to steering/grinding concerns. Ram Cares recommends taking your vehicle to your local Ram dealership to have a qualified technician examine the details of your vehicle as well as the TSB to discern if this applies to you. Please note that this TSB is for 2020-2021 model year DT Rams. As always, if you desire additional support or assistance, our team is more than happy to help! Just send us a private message to get started.

Also, our team has received word that a service solution is in progress for 2019 MY DT Rams with steering/grinding concerns. Ram Cares appreciates your patience at this time and we will be sure to provide updates as they become readily available.

Is there more detail on the issue than what’s in the TSB?

any update? I have the same issue with my 2019 Ram.

I Have the Same Issue With My 2019 RAM new Body Style.
I asked the same Question.
The Dealer would Have to keep my tuck for a long time to hear the Noise I hear Occasionally .
I am planning to ask a lot of questions to a lot of TSB's when my oil change comes due.

What's funny is I have video'd the issues I complained about and they wont even watch the videos...multiple videos - apparently they have to replicate the issue??? So 4K UHD video doesn't cut it with Stellantis it would seem. Odd really,

Same issue, grinding/ binding slow speed right turn, like when in a parking lot speed.

Took it to the dealer for oil change, brought it up and Svc Manager seemed to already know.

They checked it out.. new steering rack on order.

RamCares , any details on the TSB so we know what is going on?

I see that the Steering Rack Part Number is newer.
Is your Truck still awaiting the Service??
Still waiting for the part to arrive. And truck details in the signature. 21 Laramie.

Seems the grinding/binding is increasing a bit... hopefully the part arrives soon.

Mine stopped when I replaced my tires. Maybe something is affected in the steering when the front tires are worn enough. I.e. some angle that’s slightly off.

I wondered if it is the tires doing this....

I am having the same problem. I have a 2020 Ram limited Etorque. It only has 14,000 miles on it. My dealer said that they know as well as headquarters that this is a problem but no known fix. I have reviewed a lot of what people said about replacing the rack/steering and tires. Some have said that they are still getting these noises even after the replacement of those items. Also some have posted pictures to areas of actual items that are rubbing. I honestly am so disappointed that I literally will be trading my truck in as soon as I can. I will never buy another product from Chrysler Fiat again.

See post 165 above there’s a TSB for 2020-2021s.

Any new information regarding 2019 model year with this issue? TSB covers 2020-2021 but no follow up was done for 2019
