Well, that did not work. They replaced the filler tube, saying there was a kink in the hose. Looks like gas tank time...

For those that had the filler neck replaced, was it a same day repair or did they have it multiple days?

As odd as this sounds I was having the same problem and was discussing it with a guy at work. He said if this happens lay the nozzle of the gas pump on the ground for about 5 seconds and then retry. Not sure why but it worked for me.

Mine was a 2 day replacement and it did not fix the problem. Going back in next week.
First replaced Filler Tube and then tank, which seems to have fixed the issue. Had mine for 3 bloody weeks!

Hey guys I’ve been dealing with fueling issues since November of 2019 when I first took it to the dealer I have a 2019 ram 1500 classic with 13k miles on it. Currently leasing it and it’s been a night mare. First attempt they replaced the filler neck, second visit they replaced the gas tank, third visit they replaced evap canister and now fourth visit it’s been in the dealer for almost 2 weeks now. At this point I want to have them end the lease or I’m getting an attorney

I'm not sure how lemon law works with leasing but I'd for sure go that route.

Not 100% but I'm pretty sure the new body style (DT) has different fuel fill parts compared to the classic (DS), but maybe not as this appears to be an ongoing issue.

Thanks for the reply I haven’t gotten it back but I’m already looking into it I’m kind of stuck now does anybody have experience with Indiana lemon law? I know leases are covered in just worries they’ll say it’s not a major defect. At this point I want out and I totally regret getting rid of my 2013 ram. Best truck I ever owned

I already have customer care working with me and they have been little to no help. Won’t return my phone calls. Once I get this resolved I won’t be coming back to FCA family for sure. The dealer is no help either.

Had my repairs done today. Dropped off this morning, picked up after lunch. Does not appear to have fixed the problem. I have the 33 gallon tank and dropped it off on E.

Put 10 gallons in after I picked it up...it'll go to 3 gallons before shutting off. The last time I filled it, it was 0.3 before shutoff.

I'll give it a few days to burn some fuel off and try another station before calling the dealer and getting a tank on order.

To those in this thread - do you have the 26 or 33 gallon tank?

Did replacing the gas tank solve the issue? I have a 2019 Big Horn and it won't take any pumps unless I slow roll it (slowest flow) and then it takes 30 min to fill up. )-:

My dealer first replaced the filler neck, but that didn't solve it. It is in the shop now waiting for the new tank to come in.
I got my truck back and Yes. Replacing the tank solved the issue. After the dealer installed it, I took it straight to the gas station, inserted the nozzle and locked the nozzle on high and just stood there happily watching 24 gallons fill the tank.
