Interesting discussions. My 2019`s AC for no reason just shuts off when in auto. This has happened 3 times in 2 weeks. I can then hit the off button wait a sec and then hit the AC and it works great.
Flash needed???

AUTO, Dual Temp Zone on the Build Dates indicated. It is a flash for HVAC Module and Actuator/.Blend doors controlled electronically.
I was just wondering if it applied to those of us with loaded trucks (12” UConnect, etc.) from that time period. I don’t remember getting mine flashed, but it could have been done in my early visits to the dealer for warranty items in late 2018. Might explain why my A/C performance has been fine.

Dunno, but if dual control ATC, that time period, in my Very Humble Opinion, would think still apply ne way cause U R talking AC/HVAC doors,. not the radio U-Connect 12" and all. Sorry, poor BOIRD here, not got the higher end stuff (8.4 4C Radio), my Bighorn for "me" works. Extry bling nice, but, LOL. GL on all with yer ride. AND:< This particular update I posted the TSB for came out in Feb 2019, but who knows, FCA, LOL..... AND even tho I have been to dealership for other things past Feb 2019, since I did not Complain/Bring up issue no Flash was done, just saying.... and I have a decent Dealership....

So took mine in yesterday for AC and had a couple of other issues. It was staying in entry exit mode and the voice command button was not working. They told me I need a new radio/head unit and that will fix everything - including the air !! I doubt it will make the air cooler ???? See you back here in about 2 weeks !

Hmmm, radio head control make AC betta? Hmmmmmmmmmmm, well all the Uconnect and settings etc are run through: displayed in the radio screen. I personally think that one part was a line of BS, but who knows, lol, I am not a mechanic (backyard yes/actual no), just a consumer. I did do a check yesterday. Went to town, supermarket, truck parked for 40 minutes. Came out, drove 7 miles to house, stopped at gate and revved engine a lil and took temp at rear console outlet. Will post pics: Stock truck, no big engine mods, no clamp or valve installed. 5.7L no E-torque.:

I just bought a 2020 big horn. On hot days it takes forever to get cool, not cold. On cooler mornings it blows cold almost immediately. Not highly impressed with the AC. Winters coming I havn't tried the heat yet.

Heat is not an issue...is the AC that is sub par.

Well leaves U with 3 Options.

1) Tell Dealership. (Remote possibility system improperly charged)
2) Clamp or Valve hack
3) Just live with it.

I was hoping maybe the 2020's be a lil better, but same design, same issues. However enjoy yer RIDE. As far as Heat, Oh No, heat just fine...

All i know is that I updated my 12” infotainment yesterday and I notice now that the A/C turns on higher at times more than before and the cabin is cooler sooner. I really don’t know if it really did anything as some people say the update helped with the A/C as well. But I do notice it working differently and it is cooler. I’m happy as of right now.

Define "I updated".

Was this a software OTA update or something else?

OTA update. First one I ever got. I’ll show the update notification, and the new build. I’m not a tech guy and I don’t see how software can help this. But i do see a difference.

WELL since U can control the AC either manual thru knobs or Uconnect screen, I can see how update helps so that The controls running electronically are changed. Since I only have 4C Uconnect, there is no update for my system.

After update. Done 10 minutes ago or so. 102 degrees outside. Gets colder when I step on the gas. This is on idle.

I gave it gas for 3 seconds on park and it dropped to this. I would assume it would go somewhat more lower if I start driving it.

Hmmm. That beats the service spec. by quite a bit for that outside temperature, especially since the factory spec. is taken at 1000 engine RPM.
