Somebody get the smelling salts for that horse! This feels like we can get some more mileage out of her.
Before I bought my Limited, I got pretty good at reading the Monroney labels. They spell out that you get the camera and power folding if you don't get the towing mirrors.

For some of the early adopters, there was quite a bit of confusion over what the trucks did/did not have, however, that has not been the case in quite sometime.
Lots of other threads about people being upset about not reading the sticker and making sure the truck had everything they wanted prior to driving off the lot.
I knew exactly what I was/was not getting when I went looking through several trucks.
Everything the truck came with (or without) was clearly indicated on the sticker.
There is nothing to 'resolve'... your choices are to enjoy what you have or trad it back in.
To me, this is what most of the frustration is. There is no monetary deduction for losing the 360view for tow mirrors, the tow mirrors actually make the truck more expensive even with the advanced safety. You opt the advanced safety, then lose the 360 and power fold when you get the trailer tow and do not get a price reduction for the loss of those functions and pay more for the tow mirrors! If you did get a reduction for the loss then first of all it would have been easier to realize the loss and secondly it would be an easier pill to swallow so to speak if you did want the tow mirrors. IMOThe real question, imo, is was there a proper monetary deduction on the MSRP price between Tow and the 360 and power mirrors, or were we you charged the same amount? On my sticker the MSRP was for advanced safety group was $1,395 where it listed the surround view camera, then of course had the "N/A w trailer-tow mirrors". I assume there was a deduction for the more mundane mirrors and the lack of 360, but I am not sure. Not to throw fuel on the fire, but my salesman prior to purchase told me I had 360 surround. I did not check to confirm that so I guess that is on me, or at least that is how FCA would see it. If you happen to get some movement on this let me know but otherwise I am fine sticking with what I have. Now, if there was no monetary deduction I received for less inferior accessories I may have an issue. I'd feel a bit "bait and switched" in my situation.
I fixed the link for ya.Can you possibly point me to the first post about the tow mirror issue so I can reference it to Ram? I curious when this started The earliest post i could find is the following

I hope it works out for you and all of us! Either way, I'm trying to focus on the positives of this otherwise awesome truck but it is a raw deal for those that didn't exactly know the realities of selecting the tow mirror option and that you would be giving up premium options for a standard mirror AND paying more for doing so.I am doing my best of getting a hold of someone at FCA or Ram. I tried social media and the RamCares.com website and they promptly closed my ticket when i raised awareness of this issue. I went back to my dealer today and spoke with them. I told them I want them to make sure all new buyers are aware of this $400 tow package debacle and make sure new customers are aware of what they are getting and losing. My dealer had no idea that it removed 360 surround view, or power folding. They also didn't know that it cost $400 to get the tow package and there was no discount on the features that were removed. I told them I wanted them to forward my email to their managers and representatives at FCA and Ram. I also told them i want someone to call me so I can talk to them directly. I referenced this and several other form post that I am not the only one who had the issue. I will keep you updated on what i hear back and if they do find the time to help me I will make sure to reference anything they tell me. I don't have high hopes but it is a start. The General Manager said he would do his best to move this to his FCA/Ram reps.
I also wanted to say thanks for everyone who is posting on this because the more people we get posting and raising awareness the more likely we are to get something done. Thanks!

.....did you also send a private message through this forum? My communication was with someone on twitter and through the Ramcares.com website. You are correct i never communicated with @RamCares through this forum. I wasn't even aware that it existed on this forum to be honest but if you're willing to help it would be much appreciated.

Thank you for clarifying. Please know that when a tow package or other packages are added, some of the standard features are replaced with the optional equipment, which will be reflected on your window sticker under the "Optional Equipment" section. If your dealer sales representative did not adequately explain the differences in equipment, I am very sorry for this, and I would recommend speaking to the sales manager regarding what you were told so they can address your concerns directly.

This is actually the reason one of my friends didn't buy his RAM. He did the research and found out that the tow pkg deleted the 360 view and that was his decision not to buy. Stuck with his Denali. You have to go into the deal expecting the dealer to be incompetent. Sad but true. I think my salesman was more interested in his cell phone than my deal. Glad I did all the research before I bought. Even ran the vin of the truck I was looking at online to make sure it had the features I wanted.
