Yes, similar. I’m not sure if that one will work for Rams.

That’s gps. You’ll need to adapt it with a cable to plug into the mustard connector on the radio. This is a male to female fakra z cable that is neutrally keyed- https://www.amazon.com/Bingfu-Exten...le+to+female&qid=1586702288&sr=8-6&th=1&psc=1

@Bram2019, I re-wired everything to the best of my ability with the tools I have. I think it’s a lot cleaner and should present no issue. If this don’t work I think we can cross out a wiring issue. I also took off the module and disconnected all the wires and blew in them like an old Nintendo for good luck. ‍♂️

Question for the members in this thread that did the 12” swap... after you applied the settings in your BCM and pulled the fuse, did your volume and browse knobs work instantly or did it take a while for them to start working?

Yeah same, Jimmy and bram have tried all they know though. Was just curious about the knobs so I can know if i “get it working” right away.

Hopefully when I get my bypass and obdlink Mx in I can help as well. I messaged infotainment to see if they would sell me the obd genie preloaded so I can plug it in like they show in their video and they said they couldn’t do that. They did however said I could buy their kit and they’d buy my screen, module, bezel, and all other associated parts...... for a whopping $800 total. So I messaged the guy back and asked if their genie costs $3200..... they are a joke and a rip off.

Haha that was a funny one. They are sooooo expensive! But kudos to them for actually making after the fact replacements. They work hard on making it and they charge you for it lol

Update, so I’m sending the screen and module back to the seller to see if he can get the pair to work in his vehicle. I believe either the screen or the module is bad. Just put back in my 8” dash, everything working immediately including knobs, XM radio, camera, every feature after the stock settings were out in the BCM...so I shall wait and see. Already miss the 12” though lol, but have to admit it’s nice having knobs and everything working how it should right now.
