2025 Ram 1500 Order Updates

Good news to those in this thread!

I drove by the idled Belvidere plant / storage lots and no abundance of '25 Rams to be found. It looks like they shipped them all out.

when we came home from Wisconsin last weekend there were a lot of car carriers in the one lot. some loaded with 1500s some not. the previous week when we went the place was packed with 1500s.

Well I received an interesting update from RAM via text concerning my Tungsten order:

'Hello, We are excited to share with you that your Ram has started the assembly process. Estimated delivery date is 10/13/2024. Date subject to change.'

Wow!! While I am thrilled to see it enter production - it sure takes a long time to assemble and deliver a truck! I sure hope that delivery date changes 🤔

That seems crazy. I thought they were building this week will ship dates in early Aug.

Just got this another blanket email

I occasionally check the order tracker (like the rest of us). I log in with my account and my vehicle order is there, etc. Today when I checked it asked for my name and VON (odd, cause it's usually right there), and then gave me the message "No information available at this time. Please check back later." - Can you provide any insight? Perhaps there was a status change and the site needs time to update??

hum, I have not checked mine since I got the email yesterday from them. doesn't surprise me though as the web site has been behind actual daily activity for a while it seems.

It doesn't take that long to build the truck. They likely just have it scheduled, most likely in September they gave you that October date. Depending on where you're located transport to you could take 1-4 weeks.

I got the same exact message... This is really aggravating that they cannot be forthcoming with us as to what is the hold up is.

supposedly once you get to stage D-1 the build is to take place within 48 hours is what I have been told. I don't know if that is true or not though.

Tavares has mentioned in the news that he's deep into fixing the "mess" that is quality issues at a couple of plants including SHAP. Apparently too many trucks are needing to be fixed after coming off the line. Seems to me like they're going to be shaky from a production standpoint for a while.

My Tungsten went into D1 on June 24th. Just got the following email today.
Production has started, Thomas.
Our team is now working to build your Ram 1500. We'll send you a follow-up email once it's completed.

Hit D1 today on Tungsten build. Estimated ship aug 28 then 3 weeks to get to Westchester NY. Not holding my breath but good to see some progress on paper. Slightly nervous about the build issues referenced on this thread so hopefully they get it right.

What does your VIN end with? I'm 8/10 estimated ship date last time I looked with VIN ending in 569484

My Tungsten went into D1 back on June 24 and went into production July 26 and shows a shipping date of 8/4 but my tracking shows and estimated delivery date of 10/14. Go figure.

So my limited went D1 June 24 and went into production July 25… but it’s says estimated delivery date October 2nd which seems like awhile to me.

I just finally gave up on the Forged Blue and ordered a Tungsten with Anthony today (Red). He said about four months, which puts me at Thanksgiving. It's around that time last year that I thought about buying one of these.... thinking it might actually start to be available in first quarter 2025. Pretty foolish of me.... I ordered my 2014 Laramie on Halloween 2013, and picked it up the day after new years (and that's with two or three major holidays in the middle).

My Tungsten is in paint now but still shows a delivery date of October 13th. Not sure how that calculate these things...
