2025 Ram 1500 Order Updates

The eagle has landed.

Will write some first impressions in the Tungsten thread later. If you all want an AMAZING dealer let me know - best experience I've ever had buying a vehicle.
I love the grey. I almost went that direction too

Just got an email that my truck made it to the dealer. Hoping to get the call tomorrow and pick it up Saturday.
Awesome news man. Mine still at the railyard and won't start. My dealer has been trying to get it picked up so they can do the repair, but they can't get a release from Stellantis. Sooo close!!!

You're gonna freak tf out when you get in that thing... Just warning you. It's amazing.

That's a great first impression! :) Been waiting to hear what you think of it.
I can't wait to freak out myself. This is agonizing .... mine is at the body vendor.

Still waiting for them to get the truck started? Can't they put it on a rollback and get it to the dealership?
Railyard wont release it to the dealership without Stellantis approval. Factory rep keeps saying they will get a tech out but its been two weeks now. Dealer is pushing to go get it but getting run around from the factory rep. Its literally an hour away...

I'm sorry man. Frustrating as all get-out.

Well once you guys get some pet fur on the rugs and fingerprints on the screens lmk. Figured out a really good cleaning routine and it's like new again. You'll have to spend a couple bucks tho... But if you got a Tungsten you'll probably be fine

Pete, I wouldn't mind seeing what you came up with if you want to send it over to me.

Anybody elected for the trailer tow mirrors and like the way they look? I'm not feeling them, but MD has my exact build but it has the trailer tow mirrors which I don't want. Somebody convince me that I need them/will like them/will be okay with them.

I have them on my Tungsten. They are big, I'll give you that. I do like the way they look and the bigger mirrors definitely make it easier to see behind you. Biggest draw back is the blind spot created at your 2 o'clock position. Mainly at a 4 way stop. You can hide a full size truck behind the passenger side mirror. I'm still adjusting, but have had it for less than a week and haven't had many issues.

You'll be happier in the long run if you get what you want. I looked several times at other trucks that were available... Glad I waited.

@Teeps NE

Here's what I came up with:

Carpets

I use this vacuum to pick up most of it and then the rollers to get the rest and the pet fur.

Screens (and any other touch-up)

The following chemical guys product seems to work well for everything. I spray some on a microfiber, wipe the screen, then buff it with a dry microfiber.

The same cleaner and microfiber worked well for a couple of other spots that had a little dirt.

Glass

I've used this stuff before and have a bottle... but haven't cleaned the windows on the Tungsten yet. It works very well.

I've used something just like this to get dog fur off the carpet and seats. The exact thing I bought years ago isn't available on Amazon anymore, but this looks like the exact same thing:

It's amazing. My last Ram was black interior. I have two yellow labs. Don't know what I was thinking but my dogs could just walk by my truck, and fur would appear on the carpet and seats! Shopvac would only get so much. These brushes are amazing.

I feel the same way. They are big and create a blind spot, but I would still take these over the normal mirrors because of all the other benefits. This is obviously a very personal decision, but I do not regret getting them.

Glad to hear you say this! Thank you. I've been questioning my truck - not that I can do anything about it now. I have tow mirror on the 3500 I'm driving now, and while big... I love being able to see everything behind me.
