They have a shopping tools page on ram website. You can go to that, put in your exact trim and configuration, and it will tell you which rebates are on the truck. That’s the most accurate way to check online. Looks like mid Atlantic folks can get 2500 on rebels

The only deal I see for September is “0% APR for 60 months on select all-new 2019 Ram 1500 Lone Star Crew Cab models”

I am looking for a 2019 Limited myself and others are looking at other models also other than just the Lone Star Crew Cab models. But for some looking at this model in particular, this is great for them. So I assume they aren't going to have any other incentives/rebates for September or at least not yet.

The APR incentive seems to forgo about $3k in cash back allowances; is that right? The website doesn't really say that it is not compatible with other incentives, but it also doesn't include them. How do you guys see it?

Here’s the updated deals posted today fo all 2019 models.
This is great, these deals are showing for me now too. As this is a negotiation thread I'm hoping you guys can give me some advice, as far as what you would negotiate on a 2019 Ram Rebel with 12A package-- My ideal Rebel has an MSRP of $60,150. From what I've read in previous posts I should shoot for 15% off of MSRP and then add rebates, in this case I'm looking at an offer of about $51,125 + $500 bonus cash (taking the 0% financing offer). This seems a bit high though. What would you guys do?? I am ready to buy now, just want to get the best deal without wasting too much time.

I don’t think that’s high with the 0% financing offer. Assuming financed 50k, at 3% for 72 months (super low rate) you would pay 54,600 and some change. So 3500 bucks saved. Little less if you did the 60 month loan at say 2.5%. 53200. About the same as taking the 2500 rebate on that one.

The zero percent deals aren’t great though, in general, unless you are:

1) buying a trim that never goes on sale with large rebates (king ranch, longhorn, etc). Which the rebel is kind of in this area.

2) you are a long term owner. If you don’t keep the truck the life of the loan, you’ve lost the benefit and should have done the cash rebate.

I just negotiated the following deal on a 2019 Rebel with the 12A package:

MSRP $58,305
Dealer Discount and Rebates $13,433
Dealer Fees $210
Out the door price of $45,082 before taxes. Total of 22.6% off which I think is pretty good on a Rebel.

The dealer did say the 0% financing would cause me to lose a few thousand in rebates.

Better than mine, I have a very similar MSRP and paid about 47 flat. (y)

Great points! I do have 2.59% @ 60 months approved by my credit union, but the 0% offer would be more appealing as I plan on keeping the vehicle for at least 5 years as I have done with other vehicles. Considering discount vs interest; in the end it's around a -$1600 difference taking the 0%. BUT, I also would try to pay it off by 48 months which somewhat alters the incentive to be less beneficial. Maybe I should go with my own financial institution then...

How on earth do you guys manage these deals?? I have definitely improved my negotiations over the past couple weeks but when I throw an offer out greater than 15% I get scoffed at. When I tried 24% off MSRP to start at with my first dealer he looked at me as if I dropped my pants and squatted one out on his desk.

I’ve found that it’s all about the dealer. Some of them are hopeless. I also try to avoid talking to salesman as much as possible, and go for sales manager. Tell him straight up I’m ready to buy NOW but I don’t want to over pay. If they don’t like it, move on. I always start with email or phone, just tell them you live too far away to come in.

Too far is very subjective, 30 mins away could be too far for you lol.

It took talking to a few dealerships, and I ended up needing to drive a few hours to pick it up. Ended up going through Laura in Sullivan, MO. They have a few Rebels left.

Yep, this is true, especially in my highly-congested area, and with 2 little ones at home. That's why I didn't spend a huge amount of time running down the absolute best deal I could. I took a test drive on my own, one with my toddler, one with the whole family, and then one with just me. The first 2 were a non-eTorque Limited, the one with the whole fam was in a Limited long bed (bad salesperson, not listening) but eTorque, and the last was the truck I bought, which I drove twice... once with the salesman and once home to show SWMBO, who was working from home.

There's a law of diminishing returns. You can accept a "good" deal and spend very little time negotiating (like I did), or you can spend (usually) quite a bit more time and get a "great" deal (in quotes because good and great are subjective). That said, I have 2 kids under 4 and hated my F-150, so I wasn't motivated to save a couple more grand, and basically took the dealer's first number, minus around $100 (to make a round figure because OCD). My truck stickered just under $70,000 USD, and I got it for $47,000 with just under $15,000 in positive equity in my F-150. That includes tax/tags/title - for the life of me, I can't remember the pre-TTT number. I spent more time negotiating the warranty and prepaid maintenance package than I did the truck itself.

All-in, between email and phone and in-person, I spent under 6 hours working my deal, whereas for my buddy's 2016 Mustang, which he hired me to act as his Buyer's Broker, I spent about 10 hours, and I secured him a very good deal on his car.

The point of all this is to find a dealer you like, work a deal you think is good, and try not to compare your deal to someone else's. Lots of ire around here from the Late-May/Early-July buyers who missed out on the killer June deals, but at the end of the day, each and every one of us signed on the dotted line, and wouldn't have done so if we weren't happy with our particular deal.

Funny related story: Back in 2003 when the all-new 2004 Nissan Altima was introduced, I found 2 of them which were fully-loaded V6/manual models within a few miles of each other, and had the dealers fighting each other so bad that it went from $600/mo for 6yrs to $500/mo for 5yrs. By now, the OTD numbers have been forgotten, but not those monthly numbers - that's a huge difference! That deal took weeks to work out, and in the end a buddy of mine talked me out of it.

Were you able to negotiate below their posted prices? (their website, cars.com, etc). They're about 2 hours away from me, and who I plan on buying from. Just curious if you can get them below their posted prices. Thanks!

edit, yeah, looks like you got them down another $3000 or so. Did you negotiate in person or over phone/email?

It was all over the phone and through email. Most of the additional $3000 vs their website price was through the new Rebates. They still don't have their website updated with the September pricing. A few of the rebates I was able to get will expire on 9/16.

They also got hit with some hail, so most of their vehicles are needing paintless dent repairs that will be happening next week. You can put a $500 deposit down to hold a vehicle for you, which will also make that car a priority for the dent repairs.

In my search for a 2019 Limited deal and my research to educate myself on how to negotiate (I’m learning a lot from you guys!) and what incentives are out there, I ran across this listing of incentives/rebates offered from Ram on a local dealer’s website here in Atlanta. There’s a lot more than what Is posted on Ramtrucks.com that I posted earlier today. So just thought I would share the link to the page. Education is power they say.

I got my 2019 Ram Rebel 1500 sticker 54,000
17,000 off for dealer, factory discounts, and small hail damage on the hood(honestly only a few very small dents that you can see once you get up close and look for them)
15,500 for my trade in which is what it was booking for so what I was looking at getting for it.
So
54,000
17,000
15,500
Is
21,500
Plus I added 100,000 bumper to bumper warranty, spray in bed liner, rust proofing, undercoating, upholstery protecting, ceramic coating exterior, and tax title and licensing came to about 29,000
I feel that I get a awesome deal on an awesome looking truck.

I made a calculator in Google sheets to help people out. I'm new at sharing Google sheets, but I think the best way is to download the sheet under the file menu so you have your own copy. Let me know if this is interesting or nobody really needs it? I can also make changes if a good idea comes up. I tried to only make the grey cells editable. Let's see if that works :)

Nice chart, Thanks!! Some things to consider........

1. Doc fees and title fee are usually a set amount, not a percentage I believe. These are set by each dealer and the state where the vehicle will be titled in

2. Maybe add a line for destination charge as that is standard on all purchases and should be a part of Out The Door (OTD) price

3. Maybe consider breaking down what the actual dealer discount is on one line and then the total of incentives/ rebates on another line

Thank you for your time on this chart!

I believe it is, and yeah, me too.

If it helps, I signed up for and asked for info on a Ram 1500 through TrueCar and just got a $500 FCA Bonus Cash coupon/code via email.

What's the expiration date on the coupon? Is it good for Rebels too? When I was researching wranglers before I bought mine, I got a couple of $500 FCA coupons but it excluded Wranglers and SRT models, that's why I asked about the Rebel. According to what I've read the 20 Rebels are supposed to have heated rear seats, remote tailgate, wireless charging and 12 way power seats standard but I haven't found a 20 yet with that equipment on the sticker. Hopefully will be by the end of the year, was hoping to do an end of the year buy when dealers are working on their final 2019 numbers. Don't want to wait until June and end up disappointed when that sale doesn't happen again.
