For the couple thinking about waiting to Labor Day, current incentives run through 9/3, I'm assuming you're thinking the dealers will finally be ready to show their "best price"? With the turnover on the month, I'd think August 30th/31st would be the day to deal....

Yes that’s exactly right and broke it down for me on paper supposedly only make a $199 administration fee
And finance thru them at the time they made an extra $150. I got a 3.09% @ 66 months so not even that bad
Iv refinanced at my union now at 1.99% already
But the dealership seemed fair I was not disappointed

Wow, what union did you use for the refi?? Lowest rate I can find is 3.5% for 66. I appreciate your help!

No, they typically announce new rebates for these holidays. That start about a week before and run for 10-14 days or so.

Looks like it’s out as of today. 500 bonus cash lol.

Well, their summer giveaway sale ended yesterday which was $500 bonus cash so I believe this is just the replacement.

Would you recommend using Dave Smith or Laura? I have no problem buying from any dealer around the country and shipping the car, I'm just trying to see the major dealers who will do the whole transaction online.

If best price and choice are the goals, you can't go wrong with the highest volume Ram dealers. However, the finance departments will probably still be slimy, crooked sales folk trying to sell you aftermarket over-priced stuff.

So not a new truck so please don't kill me...but with the 2019 (and most likely 2020) AC issues I've started looking at lightly used 2018 models. Found one near me that is a 2018 Rebel (see links).

Curious what you guys think would be a fair price. It does have the Ram certified 7/100K added to it. I'm thinking a decent price would be around 40K with a great price around 37K.

TBH, the Rebel was never really what I imagined building if new but I have always loved the way it looks. This will be a daily with light towing and only off roaded in disaster scenarios :ROFLMAO:

But it does seem pretty well equipped with what I wanted (3.92/5.7/Prem Audio/Homelink/Rambox/Liner/Cover/Sunroof). If I built one it would have a 33 gallon tank, twin pano roof, and most likely be a different color along with being either a Laramie Sport/Laramie Longhorn. If I built it I'd lease it too but with this I would obviously be buying.

Finally pulled the trigger! Msrp$ 51900 total otd price $38,600 including all fees.
Congrats. Did you wind up getting it from a dealer around you? What was the price before incentives? OTD with taxes, I'm guessing you got it for 35k before tax, tag, title. That seems like you got 20% off before incentives. Big Horn? Jersey dealers playing tough!!! :D

Ok sorry, This is my first new car, I did not realize tax is included in otd, so my total was 38,600 before tax otd closer to 41500. It was by far the best deal I found, right outside st louis. Total discount off msrp was above 25% so I felt good about it. Hopefully it was a good deal!

Does anyone know if this is good for any model? Was hoping the Labor Day incentives to be a little better.

I believe it is, and yeah, me too.

If it helps, I signed up for and asked for info on a Ram 1500 through TrueCar and just got a $500 FCA Bonus Cash coupon/code via email.

I pulled the trigger today. I'm sure there are better deals to be made, but I found a truck in a configuration I liked and a price point I was happy with. Picked up a Maximum Steel Laramie Sport Crew Cab 4x4, standard v8, short box, with Laramie Group 2, DP Sunroof, 20" wheels, power running boards, and all weather mats. I got 12.5% off MSRP before incentives plus $6500 in incentives. I wound up leasing. Seems with TrueCar, you can get an additional $500 bonus cash for those looking. Live in NJ.

My first truck, and it was a great first day! Now off to find a bed liner and tonneau cover!

Congrats! Sounds like you and I had a similar experience, worked for a deal hard to finally find a truck we loved at a price we were looking for. I'm looking for a linee as well, leaning towards lineX...
