So far so good here in my 20. My 4th Gen leaked when I bought it told them cut me a check which they did for $500 and I’d worry about fixing it myself. $10 gasket and 30 mins of my time and boom fixed. Seeing as it was a Toyota dealer I guess they didn’t want to risk it being a big fix and they wanted that sale.

I had a 19 with 36k miles and no leaks. Now have a 21 with no leaks either.

I have not had a leak in my 2021.

In reality, there were over a million 1500s sold in 2019 and 2020. (At least according to my whopping 10 seconds of research) Of that million, who actually would believe that the majority have had issues because they have read a forum with dozens of complaints?

Well, here I am a year later and I now see that I have stains on both sides of my headliner in the back. I scheduled an appointment and took the truck to the local dealership. I also contact Rob @RamCares (on this forum). The dealership replaced the gasket around the third brake light and made an appointment with the local car wash to clean the headliner next week.
Thanks to Rob @RamCares for his help with escalating the repair request. I was amazed that the part was there and did not have to be ordered.
Of course, we are happy to help.

Got my truck in March 2021. No leaks. I did switch to the Recon 3rd brake light the other day, though. So, we'll see...

I preemptively changed mine in my 2021 to a true rubber gasket, not a foam one like the factory. I have had zero issues with leaks and we have had some good rain storms here in Florida. My 2019 Ram did start to leak after about a year.

I had my CHML replaced a year or so ago and the dealer cleaned the stained headliner(hydrogen peroxode apparently).
I thought I was in the clear until last night. When I pulled out my son‘s car seat and found and drip stain down the perforations in the leather. I looked up and saw that both corners were stained worse than ever before.
A few weeks ago I was on the HWY and heard what sounded like water flowing in the rear ceiling but I couldn’t see anything. Now I know it was not on the outside or between the cab and canopy.
The only person I know that has had more issues with their vehicles is my friend who buys used Land Rovers from used car lots.

Well, I set up a garden hose and let it run at 1/3 flow aimed at the top passenger side corner for about 1 minute. The water flowed across the top of the entire window frame and not long after I found that I have seeping water at both corners of the window. So disappointing but not surprising.

Mine was in a couple of weeks ago for the FOURTH TIME for a leak at the passenger side upper corner of the rear window. I don't have any frame cracks (yet). The dealer called in a glass specialist company (which they told me they did before but I don't believe them because this is the first time their name showed on a work order). This is the last time it goes in for this. I have a lemon lawyer chomping at the bit to make some money off this lemon.

I wanted to avoid LL as well but there is only so much lemonade a person can make until you have to say “enough”. We’ll see how the dealer responds on Monday.

I just ordered a borla cat-back system too 😔.
Can’t say that I am comfortable investing any more money in this truck.
