I have never had a leak.
Of course, we are happy to help.Well, here I am a year later and I now see that I have stains on both sides of my headliner in the back. I scheduled an appointment and took the truck to the local dealership. I also contact Rob @RamCares (on this forum). The dealership replaced the gasket around the third brake light and made an appointment with the local car wash to clean the headliner next week.
Thanks to Rob @RamCares for his help with escalating the repair request. I was amazed that the part was there and did not have to be ordered.
Yes, it was. The dealership sent the vehicle to a local place for detailing/cleaning. Stains are gone and no more leaks after the third brake light was replaced. Kudos to RamCares on this forum. I was treated like a king.It looks like your C-Pillar is stained to at the top.
I wanted to avoid LL as well but there is only so much lemonade a person can make until you have to say “enough”. We’ll see how the dealer responds on Monday.Mine was in a couple of weeks ago for the FOURTH TIME for a leak at the passenger side upper corner of the rear window. I don't have any frame cracks (yet). The dealer called in a glass specialist company (which they told me they did before but I don't believe them because this is the first time their name showed on a work order). This is the last time it goes in for this. I have a lemon lawyer chomping at the bit to make some money off this lemon.
What tubber gasket did you use?I preemptively changed mine in my 2021 to a true rubber gasket, not a foam one like the factory. I have had zero issues with leaks and we have had some good rain storms here in Florida. My 2019 Ram did start to leak after about a year.
No. It goes back to at least Gen 4. Possibly, even Gen 3.has this just been a 2019, 2020, 2021 issue?
any 2022's being reported? No. It goes back to at least Gen 4. Possibly, even Gen 3.
