Wheel spacers

Looking to put some 1.5” wheel spacers on my 2020 ram 1500 built to serve. I don’t want to have to cut the lugs. Anyone know if I’ll be okay running a 1.5” spacer ?

If so will I need to do an alignment after installing them ?

I have the same truck and was gonna do 2” hub centric Bora Spacers . Our truck has clearance on the inside of the wheels for clearance of the wheel studs to allow for 1.25 minimum without trimming. I’ve seen our truck with 1.5 and it looks good . No need for an alignment either

I’m curious about the thinner spacers, like the 1/2” or less. Do those fasten the same way the larger ones do? IE tighten the existing lugs over the spacer, then mount the wheel on the spacer studs? Or are they just a plate with holes that slide over the existing studs.

I‘m definitely not interested in trimming studs to accommodate the thinner spacers, and not sure I’d want a 1” or so.

Yes correct the thinner spacers are a plate that slides over your existing lugs and the wheel goes on the existing lugs giving you less thread for your lugs

I just ordered 2” Bora Spacers cause I wanna little more of an aggressive look. Bora do take a little Longer to get and are more money but are the best. When spending a lot of money on a truck and have a family I would rather have a piece of mind

Did you order steel or aluminum ? Did you have some photo of the stace ?

I just did mine with 275/60R20 nitto ridge and 1.5inc wheel spacers all around. No need to cut studs down. Oem suspension and no orp. No rubbing at all
