I've switched into 4hi at 65mph (100 kmh) and it was seemless. 4 Auto can be done at any speedAnyone know at what speed you can switch from 2WD to 4WD/hi or AWD? Just went through the manual and don't see. My Jeep use to be 50km/h you could swap to 4WD. It was 5km/h or so for 4wd/lo
Awesome. Thanks!I've switched into 4hi at 65mph (100 kmh) and it was seemless. 4 Auto can be done at any speed
Same here, I shift in and out of 4Hi often in the 60-65mph range. I'm sure it could be done harmlessly going faster, but honestly if the conditions warrant 4wd, should you be doing 70+???Awesome. Thanks!
I am never moving very fast when I shift as I'm not interested in engaging the transfer case at higher speeds regardless of published limits.
I don't see anything about it either in the Owner's Manual, User Guide, or Quick Reference Guide. On past 4x4 trucks I've had the guideline was below freeway speed (~50 mph IIRC). That's way above my personal pucker factor and I'm usually switching under 30 mph. If I think I'm going to need some extra wheels pulling at higher speeds I'll go to 4WD AUTO early at a lower speed, but that's just me.
For 4 LO you have to be in 4HI, stopped, and with the transmission knob in Neutral for the shift to 4LO.
If you buy almost any other liner than the Mopars, they are thicker material.Picked up rear wheel well liners from the dealership this afternoon. Installed them in the parking lot of my shop, between customers interrupting me (the nerve!). The MOPAR directions were worthless. Thanks to the 2020 Rebel owner (Water Fowler 41) who put up a useful youtube video.
I'm not sure they can make those liners any cheaper. The parts I took off to install the liners were much more substantial.
Crazy how many trucks and SUVs, of all makes, that I now notice have no liner at all.
Cleaning up the wheel wells yesterday with 303 and my thoughts were, "Can Mopar make them any thinner?".If you buy almost any other liner than the Mopars, they are thicker material.
I’ve never heard of this AC hack, sounds like it improved your cooling in the cab but what does it to exactly? Also nice oil catch can which one is that?Did my own version of the AC hack. Works very well. Probably cost about $15 in parts. My truck feels like a refrigerator now.
It shuts off the coolant flow to the heater core. The system doesn't seem to shield from the heater cores heat or some of it leaks through.I’ve never heard of this AC hack, sounds like it improved your cooling in the cab but what does it to exactly? Also nice oil catch can which one is that?
