What did you do to your Ram today???

Traveled 2500km for trip back home. Got up this morning and gave her a wash to get the bugs and dirt off.

The ceramic and PPF make it so easy to clean.

Did mine in the 1st week of ownership. It's the only way to travel. Do you find that you look forward to rain during the trip because the bugs pretty much get washed away?

Removed and replaced all chrome pieces around the window, R/R all emblems except grille with black, R/R door handles with black. Removed and power coated Rims and tow hooks. Replaced chrome exhaust tips with black chrome tips. On Monday I take to shop to R/R chrome front and rear bumper, grill and a sport‘s hood that will be color matched to the truck. All oem parts with no plastic dip or vinyl wrap.

Once done I will post the completed updated look.
Here is the finish product

Installed a Bedrug last night!
Was thinking of spraying the bed, but local shops just asking too much. Opted for a Bedrug Impact bed liner, which shipped to Hawaii, was cheaper than getting my bed sprayed, go figure.

Love the Bedrug, it really transformed the bed.
Was a bit of a pain lining up the tie down bar mounting holes, adding to the install time. Overall, it took about 2 1/2 hours to install.

Not sure what to do with the OEM bedmat I got, so i put it back into the bed for now.
Really dig the bedmat, keeps cargo stuck in place, but it takes away from the look of the Bedrug.
Decisions, decisions, decisions ...grrrrr.....🤦‍♂️

Purchase some of these and they also keep stuff from moving around. The Velcro on the bottom sticks securely to the Bedrug. I’ve often wondered why Bedrug doesn’t sell their own in a little beefier style and American made versus buying VW.

I actually like the look of the bedmat in there! Your truck your call, but it looks good in my opinion. :D

Removed the ugly Ram chrome running boards. I bought them off somebody about 6 months ago in great shape since my wife was having hard time getting in the truck. It was OK for those 6 months but I never really cared for them so I took them off even though I knew she'd complain. Maybe I should invest in one of this gymnastic bounce boards...that'd be a sight 😆.

Threw in the towel on trying to get my wife to open the doors without scratching the door cup so I installed some PPF yesterday.

This is not her real hand…

The rain help for sure! The bugs came off easily though.
