Anyone know at what speed you can switch from 2WD to 4WD/hi or AWD? Just went through the manual and don't see. My Jeep use to be 50km/h you could swap to 4WD. It was 5km/h or so for 4wd/lo

I am never moving very fast when I shift as I'm not interested in engaging the transfer case at higher speeds regardless of published limits.

I don't see anything about it either in the Owner's Manual, User Guide, or Quick Reference Guide. On past 4x4 trucks I've had the guideline was below freeway speed (~50 mph IIRC). That's way above my personal pucker factor and I'm usually switching under 30 mph. If I think I'm going to need some extra wheels pulling at higher speeds I'll go to 4WD AUTO early at a lower speed, but that's just me.

For 4 LO you have to be in 4HI, stopped, and with the transmission knob in Neutral for the shift to 4LO.

I've switched into 4hi at 65mph (100 kmh) and it was seemless. 4 Auto can be done at any speed

Just as an FYI - you can shift into 4lo while moving at 2-3mph per their video. I want to say with near certainty I've been able to shift from 2wd to 4lo from a dead stop. 4hi to 4lo may be applicable if you're moving at a low speed like they mentioned in the video.

Did my own version of the AC hack. Works very well. Probably cost about $15 in parts. My truck feels like a refrigerator now. 🤣

That 37-38 degrees is max AC (thermostat open, recirculation engaged, sitting at idle) in about a 95 degree garage.

Picked up rear wheel well liners from the dealership this afternoon. Installed them in the parking lot of my shop, between customers interrupting me (the nerve!). The MOPAR directions were worthless. Thanks to the 2020 Rebel owner (Water Fowler 41) who put up a useful youtube video.

I'm not sure they can make those liners any cheaper. The parts I took off to install the liners were much more substantial.

Crazy how many trucks and SUVs, of all makes, that I now notice have no liner at all.

If you buy almost any other liner than the Mopars, they are thicker material.

At 385 miles on the odometer I swapped out the wholly inadequate factory Nexan Rodian tires for a set of Micheline Defender LTX M/S. This will be my fourth set of Michelin Defender LTX tires in my life and these ride just as smooth/quiet as my previous sets - with a heck of a lot better traction than the Nexans.

I picked them up at Discount Tire brand new for $591 out the door including tax with a another $30 off in the form of a rebate since I used my Discount Tire card. Final price is $561 which included in the deal was me giving them the junk Nexans. I felt that deal beat the heck out of me trying to sell a set of tires I wouldn't put on my worst enemies truck!

I’ve never heard of this AC hack, sounds like it improved your cooling in the cab but what does it to exactly? Also nice oil catch can which one is that?

It shuts off the coolant flow to the heater core. The system doesn't seem to shield from the heater cores heat or some of it leaks through.

Went racing last night, got some nice sunset pics. Zero wind at track, despite nice temps, so cool downs took forever, so no good runs

After getting a $368 ticket for having my cell phone in my hand at a red light I decided to get a magnetic mount to hold my phone.
I found this one from Course Motorsports. Installed it today. Took 15 minutes. Works like a charm! $45. Well spent! Clips behind the radio bezel. Still clear of the vent as well as start/stop button. Non charging but I don’t have a problem plugging it in before I put it on the holder if needed.

Heres a link for those that may be interested:
