I tried to watch that but science Stevo is just too long winded to follow.
not according to the book but I always change my first oil at 500 miles since i get free oil and filter at the shop.Sorry for the question as a new Ram owner, but after only 1,100 miles is it recommended to change the oil?
THATS GREAT A BRAND-NEW TRUCK AND YOU ARE TAKING IT THROUGH A DAM SWIRL/SCRATCH MACHINE 2+ TIMES A WEEKI gave her her first oil change (1,100 miles on the clock). Also purchased a membership at a local car wash that allows me to get an unlimited number of washes each month. I washed her twice today just because.

thats the same for me and my area . they have "luxury" car washes like Charlies in the area but it still runs through the wash then employees hand dry and vacuum your car for you lolThere are a ton of car washes around here. They have become more plentiful than banks and churches. NOT ONE IS TOUCHLESS! So, my truck stays dirty a lot. Hand washes only.
I love his videos, because he does explain the science, and isn't just one of those guys who just say, you have to believe me because I say so. He's also not biased towards one brand of oil over another, as long as the UOAs support the usage.I tried to watch that but science Stevo is just too long winded to follow.
all my vehicles are hand washed

Smart!I keep telling myself I’ll wash the Jeep (05 LJ) one day, but then I just look at it and say meh, it’s fine. Hasn’t been washed in years. Literally. The doors, windows, and windshield all leak water when it rains. It’s the crappy weather day driver while the truck sits comfy and safe in its garage spot.
I don’t disagree at all. Given the location of the car wash relative to my house and commute to work, I would venture a guess that I end up washing it about every other week, maybe three times/month. I also applied a ceramic coating to the paint the first weekend I owned it which will go a long way in protecting the paint.Might wanna ease up on that.. imagine your clear coat getting hit with high pressure jets twice daily in the long term can’t be good. Just because you can run it multiple times might wanna just start sticking with when the trucks dirty enough.

Beautiful ride.I used my truck to take my empty pop cans, wine bottles and old electronics to the recycler’s. Then went and grabbed a few groceries.
I find any excuse I can to drive it!View attachment 195227
I got rid of a 174K Ferd and spend another $55K so I could do the same thing, in style!
that's the same thing I did!I got rid of a 174K Ferd ...
