This may help someone else. While having the 2 recalls done I told them about a front end clunk I ve been getting. Said they fixed it but I ll know when I next drive the route that I can reproduce it on.

how long did it take you to get the seats out? That would be great time to waterproof the other electronics.
That was a very easy part. E-torque bolts and 18 mm bolts, lift the seat out. Someone pointed out on FB that I should bag up the RF hub. So that’s what I’ll do this weekend.

Just received the call from the service advisor. Driver side manifold replaced under powertrain warranty, ABS recall update done and they found two leaks. 3rd brake light and rear window leak. They have to order parts and will take it back in next Tuesday. 3rd brake light will be replaced and rear window will be sealed per the latest TSB. All covered under the extended Stellantis warranties for both items.

Wait, you found a crack in the rear window frame and they are going to “seal” it? If the frame is cracked, it should be replaced. “Sealing” is a temporary fix.

Yep it was a small crack but the latest TSB supersedes the previous ones for replacement.
Also there is a dealer letter that is recalling all the backlites from inventory looks like

But I also read of others on here that had it replaced a few times and they still had to seal it for a permanent fix.

Sealants replaced with 2 part.

Bagged the RF Hub just for precaution . Siliconed the glass when it was new. Not a bad job. About 2 1/2 hours taking my time. Some of the parts are secured a little different in every year but it's a no brainier . e12 Torque , 18MM with breaker bar (they are tight). I used a baggie. I slit the sides a little to fit the bag over and behind. Left the bottom of bag open for airflow. Secured back on and taped some wires and ends. I was afraid to disconnect any wires as I was not sure if it would load back up by itself or not. My RF hubs was held on by 2 plastic push pins. I ran a piece of tape along top of the other black box. I did not take the large seat out of the truck after I unbolted it, just moved it forward. I left the belt retractor in the center mounted and worked around that. That makes the rear rug panel only able to move forward but there s plenty of room.

Alright I caved and drove over 100 miles to have the transmission issue diagnosed and since I made a tech ride with me there was instant acknowledgement of the issue.

The next step is a drain and refill. They'll drop the pan but the process doesn't mean replacing the pan/filter just yet, just enough to visually inspect the valve body and fluid. My guess this won't solve it but it would be nice if it did.

So I'm glad the process can start but I'm still mad I have to avoid one dealership closer to me. Ugh... Transmission issues are fun. Especially this transmission. My goodness the process is gruelling even with a lift and tons of big shop tools. Anyways... I've seen worse especially on smaller vehicles.

Solve this and I'm getting loud pipes to reward the truck. But nothing gets done until then.

Move on, it's the cost of playing the game. I have a dealer 5 minutes from me that's trash, I know the better dealer/service center to go to that's 20 min away. Should I have to do that? No but I do because my time is more valuable than arguing with a service center that is dead set on half donkeying everything and telling the customer that they are the problem. I'm not changing how that dealer operates so best thing for me is to change how I respond to the problem

Get BORLA pipes. I have the S-Type catback system on my 19' Laramie 5.7 and they sound better than anything on the market today.
