What did you do to your Ram today???

that's the same thing I did!
I changed a Ford wildtrack (diesel EU) that was only one year old. I added the same amount as yours!!.
the funny thing is that it was my wife who wanted to change for a ram!
in fact it's a whole other world
Ya I bought the RAM cause ever since we sold the 19' Ltd she's been moping about it.
Then when she realizes that it doesn't go in the garage, she "gives it to me" so I have to buy a smaller 24' SUV for her...
The math isn't adding up but being married, it never does... o_O

I don’t disagree at all. Given the location of the car wash relative to my house and commute to work, I would venture a guess that I end up washing it about every other week, maybe three times/month. I also applied a ceramic coating to the paint the first weekend I owned it which will go a long way in protecting the paint.
did you do paint correction before coating?

I did. Clay. Barred the entire truck the day after I took delivery, then went directly into applying the ceramic coating.
claying ain't paint correction lol it's part of it but you missed a few steps before coating.
now you coated imperfect paint

I’m ok with that. The paint I received from the factory is more than good enough. I’m obsessive about preventative maintenance (oil changes every 6,000, tranny fluid changes every 30,000…), and the ceramic coating was preventive maintenance for the paint.

Dropped off the truck at the dealership for scheduled appointment this morning to get the ABS recall done and driver side manifold looks to be cracked based on the cold start sound just like my passenger side did last year and was replaced.
Was also glad that I had the appt today because I noticed a drop of water on the back sliding window yesterday after some rain. Looked closer and found a small crack. Advisor looked it up and my truck qualifies for the latest TSB and extended back glass warranty. Thought I would be one of the lucky ones to not have the window leak issue.

that's fine. just saying, paint from factory can be hella contaminated that a simple clay will not get rid of.
especially considering the journey the truck takes from factory to dealer to you.

i've seen how a brand new vehicle off the lot go through paint correction and the paint looked newer than new and felt newer than new.
sorry spent too much time with friends at the body shop and detailing shop lol

Rough country bed cover installed first day. Then Ceramic coating applied the day after.

Just received the call from the service advisor. Driver side manifold replaced under powertrain warranty, ABS recall update done and they found two leaks. 3rd brake light and rear window leak. They have to order parts and will take it back in next Tuesday. 3rd brake light will be replaced and rear window will be sealed per the latest TSB. All covered under the extended Stellantis warranties for both items.
