What did you do to your Ram today???

Loaded up the truck and camper for the road trip! Everything strapped down short of the two cases of Mountain Houses, the brush, and the water hose. But those can fly around in the camper and not really damage anything.

I'm so glad I got the truck and kinda regret not going 3/4 ton for the longer bed. I like to keep everything toward the front of the camper while leave enough space toward the back, so when I get to campsite I have space to work inside the camper without moving a lot of stuff out.
Good luck on the trip and I hope you have a blast man! Like others I’ll be waiting for the updates.

@Davidbt

I'd go for it! U ain't got to go work, you shouldn't have young kids, and you can make your case to the wife on the phone from the road.

YOLO!!
that's actually the conversation we had with our shop friend at work today.

friend: "i wanna go man... but if i go i'm gonna come back single for sure. wife's gonna kick me out."
me: "oh that's not good."
...later on
Friend: "i want to do the Pan-American Highway one day all the way to the south!"
me: "that's actually perfect if you go with me this time. You come back, stop by the house, find out you're single again, and then keep going! No more permission needed!"
Friend spat out his drink LOL

:LOL:

Found a Walmart with the H8 AGM in stock. Replaced it last night. Figured 3 years on the OEM battery is good.

I noticed my running battery voltage is now around 13.6-13.7 volts. With the OEM battery it was over 14 volts.

Installed the Autostop Eliminator, purchase used from member Dewey https://5thgenrams.com/community/members/dewey.95647.
It took about 5 minutes to install. This device remembers how you last left the Auto stop/start feature on start up.
Turn it off, it stays off... Giant pet peeve handled. FYI buying from Dewey was a breeze. Thank you.
