What did you do to your Ram today???

Bottom right corner... My old part number ended in AC, the new one ends in AE. Also the plastic frame seems more substantial (thicker).

Installed my Christmas present last night. New Adarac Contour bed rack and tonneau cover. It is less than ideal kayak weather in the Northwest at the moment, but I guarantee you I will be throwing kayaks on for my camping trip with my son in a couple weeks to test the rack out. Will likely swamp the kayaks with rain this time of year here, but it has to be done.

Installed these in the dash. Much better sounding than stock, actually sound more consistent (similar?) to the Kickers I have in the front doors. Next step will likely be rear door speakers and an amp, but this should get me through the winter.

Changed my bike rack. Used to put a 2x6 in the slots with fork mount on it, but it was always in the way when I put stuff in the bed. This is slightly less intrusive, although the product of trial and error. I was able to brace it against the anchor points, if I was to do it again I’d take a thick piece of plywood and cut two slots in it.

Got the truck leveled. ReadyLift 2” pre-load spacer. I have only driven the truck about 30 miles since the lift but I don’t notice much if any difference in ride quality from stock. And it still has slight rake about .75”. Very pleased so far 😁

Huh. Pretty amazing - almost a second faster. I will be picking up the Ram Air system next week (should give similar results as your air intake), maybe I need to get a Pulsar ... but YIPES OVER $500??? (lamenting) why does everything for my truck cost so much

Dave
It's expensive, I know.

It’s the pulsar and calibration that gave it that. Not the intake.

You have a very nice looking truck. Love the setup.

I did a little experiment over the last 2-3 days. I did 0-60 times (5 runs average) before and after my Pulsar and S&B intake install.

0-60 before. Stock truck, 1.5'' front level, 33'' tires, heat/air off, 4wd auto engaged, 87 octane fuel. The speedo was not calibrated for my larger diameter tires at this point. I was running ~2 mph faster @ ~60 mph. Using cheapo
7.011 // 6.951 // 7.109 // 6.830 // 6.910 = 6.9622

0-60 after. Stock truck, 1.5'' front level, 33'' tires, heat/air off, 4wd auto engaged, Pulsar module (Performance MDS Off), S&B air intake. Tire diameter was corrected with the Pulsar module. Also, I filled up with 93 octane fuel.
6.200 // 6.128 // 5.930 // 6.210 // 6.093 = 6.1122

I'd say that's not too shabby for a ~5000 lb. truck.

High and low pics. (I am assuming) These are real world times (using the Veepeak BLE+ and the Car Scanner app). I used the same stretch of road (same start point) for all test runs. Dry pavement, weather was low/no wind and about 35-40 degrees on each of the 2 days of testing.(y)

That's a huge pickup in performance 😳

Changed out my tailgate handle from the chrome to the paint match body color. Part of my own “Night Edition” make over.
Backend= complete.

How difficult was swapping this part out? Just got the replacement piece in the mail.

Ordered two pairs of CDT CL69S.
Guess I need to get some of the wire adapters and some panel removal tools here pretty soon.
