IThat’s why I mentioned drag racing and maximal towing loads in one of my first posts.

All the 2500/3500 trucks running semi wheel conversions towing loads cross country have to run spacer/adapters.

A lot of the diesel trucks drag racing and truck pulling also run spacers, so they can get a smaller wheel on the truck and clear the caliper.

Which is maximum stress scenarios.

Again, comes down to the type/brand/quality of said spacer.

It’s not if it’s designed for it. That’s my whole point. I have to leave this conversation, as we’re just talking in circles.

Yes, expensive good spacers = designed for it rarely have issues.

Cheap Chinese spacers = not designed for it and have tendency to fail, the guys who use them then run to the forums and talk about how bad spacers are.

Then some one else reads it and lumps them in as all spacers = bad even though they personally never messed with them.

Simply trying to crush that old myth before more people read these, spacers are bad, posts.

Anyway, some idiot hit my truck in the parking lot. Not a huge amount of damage. The PPF took most of the damage.

I know exactly how it feels. I bought mine end of May and I'm already at 12k. I'm taking a 700 mile trip this weekend and then Thanksgiving week going to Aspen CO. Then Christmas week going to Ft Collins CO. I expect to have about 16k by end of year.

I bought mine in December and have 26K on it. That's what happens when you live in San Antonio and my family lives in Springtown and my wife's lives in Plano. No one ever comes to see us. We always have to travel there. Having to go the last 2 weekends of the month this month up there and then Colorado Springs at thanksgiving for a vacation. I may have 32K by the end of the year.

Like I said, the bearing load is the same, if you move the wheel out with offset or spacer, it's in the same position.

Put the Hellwig 7709 Sway Bar on today! Had to go out for a quick drive. I have to say, I love it. Corners do feel nicer, but for me the biggest plus is hitting bumps. Especially to one side of the truck. It settles out so quickly.

Does this look upside down to anyone else with the Hellwig? I thought it should be pointing down slightly. Just trying to assist if necessary - could just be camera angle. Cheers-

Went overboard again and ordered the Eibach Pro Lift Kit Stage 1 for the RAM. I went with Eibach because I’ve used them for lowered trucks for years and have always liked the ride. Plus, my truck is a pavement princess. Now I have to figure out how to return the readylift kit I just got in.
