Can anyone clear up what bypass cable I’ll need for a 2500? I have a 22 Ram 2500 and have seen some back and forth on the red cable (mentioned in the thread from Amazon) compared to the type of cable connecting behind the headlight switch.

Probably get better answers on the HD Rams forum, but the red cable won't work well for you as the SGW is located behind rhenfushe cluster, and not down by kick pacnel like on the 1500s

The 12+8 cable or any other that has the block connectors for the SGM will require you to remove the EVIC from the dash to install.

Do not subject yourself to that BS.

Get the proper cable that connects to the CAN-C and CAN-IHS blocks behind the headlight switch.

Has anyone played with AlfaOBD on their 2019 HD's yet? I'm curious if anything is accessible to "change" and if it just works. There is lots of different info out there on other forums, but i haven't found anything in regards to the 2019's. EDIT: AlfaOBD does work, here is the what is needed...

If you’ve got a 2019+ 1500, non-Classic, then select DT. DT is the 5th Gen, DS is 4th Gen (which includes the Classic).

DS is the "Classic" 1500 (4th Gen).
DT is the current 5th Gen 1500
Not sure why they continue to show pickup beds on the C&C trucks. DD/DF are 3500 Chassis cab and DP are 4500/5500 Chassis cab.
