At this point I would start lemon law paperwork. It's time for Ram to take it back to the tech center and sort out what happened.
I highly recommend you pursue the Lemon Law. Nothing to lose and you could be shopping for a new truck soon.

Engine and tranny on a new truck? And even then they still aren't sure the issue? Yeah, go lemon law are nip it in the bud and speak with the manager about switching you over to another truck.

The only problem with starting a lemon law claim is that I bought the truck when they had the big rebates. I will not get the same rebates and probably not the same interest rate I received on this truck. Plus not many 2020 trucks in my area and none equiped like mine. I just might be screwed on this deal

Or at least come out of it with a VERY EXTENDED warranty for your troubles and peace of mind. Might really work out for you in the end.

That may be true. The rebates on 2021's are not what you might see on a 2020. And it's not likely you'll find the truck you really want if you limit yourself to a 2020. But at this point I'd be asking myself if I'd rather keep a truck that's been through what this truck has (and still is), but I got a great deal on, or sacrifice a little on the deal and get a new truck that hasn't had it's heart and soul ripped out by people who you have no idea what kind of skills they have? And, the big question...will a new engine really fix it this time? I can tell you what my answer would be.

You can negotiate them to do a VIN swap and you literally just exchange trucks and keep the same loan and everything. As young as your truck is, and if you would've otherwise been happy with a RAM, this is the direction they would go.

Well I've called twice and left messages but of course no reply. I also sent two emails one telling them it might be time for a lemon law claim and the other asking about a vin swap as you suggested. Well of course no response to either of those emails as well. Ram cares communication definitely needs some improvement, starting to regret switching from Ford now

Any update? Did you get it? How's it driving?

(Inexcusable that they did not communicate with you.)
Only update is that they are putting in a new motor and it's still there while they do that.

Find out what your state requires you send the manufacturer to start the Lemon Law Process. It's usually a Notice of defect form.

Send it here with no sig required, but some tracking to show proof of delivery. Once it's delivered, print it out, or make a PDF and save it. Calling the toll free numbers is going to be a waste of time, but have at it if you want.

Don't worry about rebates or good deal. You can do a straight swap. In FL you could even get up to 105% MSRP on a new truck.

Well I can't even get my case worker to even call me back or return my emails. The dealership is supposed to receive the new motor today sometime, so we will see I guess.

File lemon as soon as you hit your states requirements.

I also am struggling to reach my case specialist. I call in, speak to someone else, they can’t help. Ask my specialist to call me back, and I wait... Email, no response. I’m staying patient, but it’s tough. I understand the frustration, for sure.

Well got the call today that they cannot figure out what the issue is so Chrysler said replace the motor. Hopefully this will finally work, it's been almost 60 days without my truck.
I am in now way a lawyer lover and I chuckle at some that say lemon it at the first sign of trouble (seen it multiple times here), but in your case that is exactly what I would do. Way too much for a new vehicle.

Someone hijacked the thread posting about their engine. My tranny was replaced with a factory new one. I was offered a 10 year 100k max care warranty or another option which I am ironing out details to. I can’t speak to it yet until I get it finalized then I will update. Not sure if posting about it now will draw too much attention.

Congrats that it was taken care of fairly quickly.

They replaced my transmission too and that did not fix the issue that's why they are now putting in a new motor. I hope your transmission fixes your problem.
