Ok I’ve sent them an email so they can post a link for one for me to purchase.

Geo, are you still awaiting install or did you get the mirror caps installed already? If it helps, here is a quick completed pic post install (sorry, it’s been raining so truck is a bit dirty).

Waiting for the warmer weather to be able to pop the glass without as much consternation.

I was hesitant to try this given some people’s results but I gave it a try anyway. I pried the end of the mirror back saw the clips holding it on. I was able to get a flat tip screwdriver in there and pop the clips loose to release the mirror without breaking it.
I did have an issue freeing a clip on the backside of the cover but worked it free and got it off.
I hope the photos help anyone still wanting to try this.

I bought Delmonico Red caps from the dealer and had them installed today. Good thing I had the dealer mess with them because they broke the passenger side mirror! Replacement will be here next week. All in all, the matching mirror caps are a huge improvement over the chrome imo

What did dealer charge for installation?

Dealer charged me 1 hour, which is $150. Caps were $69 from the dealer. After reading all of the stories about people breaking their mirrors ($300/each), I opted to have the dealer handle everything.

Can't argue with that!

I replaced my tailgate handle with a body color-matched one. $85 from Avondale Automotive. Took 15 minutes to do. There are also body color-matched door handles available, but it's a much more labor-intensive project. Will make you reconsider just vinyl wrapping them ;)
Wife must like me, she got me the color matched tailgate handle for valentines day. Now i just need to figure out if am better off asking avondale if i can buy a painted bumper ot just wrap it.

Ha! Had the same issue. Vinyl or paint ivory 3-coat. After $400.00 on vinyl and cant match the color......decided to paint.

So I’ve been thinking about this... chances are you’re gonna break at least one mirror. Terrible odds.

What about another approach? Could deconstruct the old mirror cover from the outside with a cutting wheel?

I've thought about that too... Destroy it from outside being careful not to hit the connection points. Then once inside its simple. My plan is to use the new cover a map to make sure I cut in the right places.

Good idea, but there’s a screw you need to access from the front (mirror side).
