I would think hard about the 3.6 vs the 5.7 in terms of resale value. Your going to get 1-2 mpg at the most.

Agreed, 3.6 wont be very coveted and you'll really miss the HEMI!!!

Love this thread. Here's my purchase yesterday. Happy Easter!!!!

2019 Laramie Quad cab, new body style
Black, 5.7, bench seat. Only added options: anti spin diff & 20" rims.

Ryan auto mall, Buffalo MN
MSRP 48,420
PRICE 38,125 (rebates 4700, disc. 5595)
TRADE 8000 :see details below
Financed 30k with SunTrust bank 3.34% 60 months

-- 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT big horn 190,000 miles , lots of rust☺. Other dealers offered me $3000 and $4000 for trade in.
Winning dealer had a $2000 higher price on the NEW truck , but they smoked the others on my trade in.

If you're looking for this exact truck Jeff belzer -Lakeville MN have these QUAD cab base Laramies for $36K which is 25% off MSRP of 48k. They may not give a great trade in value but worth a shot.

Getting ready to order, I haven't been on here in a while and there are over 50 more pages lol. Just wanted to ask if there is anyone closer to Southeast GA than Craig at Koons or that might beat his offer, Craig will give me 7% below invoice plus all rebates. Thanks

Hey dudes, I am looking pretty seriously for a loaded 2019 Ram 1500 Limited 4x4 but am not seeing the kind of deals y'all are finding with 12k off etc. I am USAA, Military, and have some other incentives but cant seem to get the dude to come down more than 5k with incentives. Am I retarded? I am in NC and willing to travel for the buy.

I’m negotiating (not much to do really) with Koons today (DC area), just straight off their “Wow” price, which is almost 12K off msrp, works out to 18% discount. I tried Kernersville (1 hr away), but while big, they couldnt get in the colors that better half wanted, and they didnt order in for their stock trucks the 33 gallon tank that I wanted, so off to DC I go tomorrow. Just be sure to get your USAA $1K car buying certificate # and also. Get a loan quote from them, I got 3.4% for 36 months from USAA.

The other forum sponsor that I was working with, Laura Ram in St Louis, couldnt match price, off by 3%.

Have been looking at the new Rebel for the last few months. (northern Illinois). Sticker is 61k but the lowest I can get the dealer to go is 53k. Is there less room for the dealer to move on the Rebels? Keeping hearing 18% to 20% off sticker is where you want to be but I've walked out on two dealers already. Thoughts?

He was worried that if for some reason the deal didn’t go through, he wouldn’t be able to sell it. (Weird?)....
I absolutely agree with the dealer in this case, if they are smart they WILL insure they are not ordering some "unpopular configuration" and then possibly be stuck with a truck that is hard to get rid of.

I have been looking over Houston inventories lately, and occasionally find one with 3.92 gears with NO anti slip/elocker and they ALL have vin#'s in the KN500000 series, because they were equipped missing that option and the 3 or 4 i've come across are just "sitting there collecting lot rot"... lol

I got this offer yesterday

2019 Ram 1500 Laramie

After Rebate $44678

I have perfect credit, at 800, for 60 months with 0 down $911

How much room do I have to negotiate?

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a 1500 Limited Sport 4x2 in the Central to South Florida area. Anyone have any dealership recommendations?

My Limited was $64 MSRP, paid $56 before tax and licensing. Basically $8K off, which was the value of the options. Maybe could have ground out another $1K off but I was in and out in 2 hours, my time and peace is worth something too.

JimKHunt - I was put off by them (K) not including freight (delivery, $1695) in their advertised “discounted” price, then slipping it back in after the subtotal. I walked on that.

Ended up buying more local, some 50 minutes and 1 dealer away. Much better sales experience, in and out with truck in 2 hours and had 3 test drives in there as well. F&I didnt even ask about extra crap like many dealers do... I am not shilling for the dealer, (Kernersville Ram) I will just say us old farts prefer face-to-face. It was for the wife and saved me 9 hours of driving...
