I am looking at the Quad Cab, 4 X 2, Big Horn. Quad cabs are somewhat limited in availablility around here. A dealer a couple hours away has one listed MSRP: $44625 -- Sale Price: $34139. One of the things I noticed looking at the sticker is that it has the V8 etorque with a list price of $1995. Ram website shows it at $2645. Any idea on why the difference?
That truck is an early build and the etorque was that price back then. That's now much it was on my sticker on the truck I bought off a lot in August.

Ended up buying more local, some 50 minutes and 1 dealer away. Much better sales experience, in and out with truck in 2 hours and had 3 test drives in there as well. F&I didnt even ask about extra crap like many dealers do... I am not shilling for the dealer, (Kernersville Ram) I will just say us old farts prefer face-to-face. It was for the wife and saved me 9 hours of driving...
Heres the window sticker:

That was my guess also -- thanks for verifying. Started off looking at the straight V8, with Level 1 equipment group. They have this one with the Etorque, Level 2 equipment group, Sport Appearance Package, and 20 inch Aluminum Chrome Clad wheels. $10486 off of MSRP seems pretty good. No way I can even go look at it before 04/30, so it will be interesting to see what rebates carry over into summer.

MSRP $68,840.00
Savings / Rebates $11,840.00
Adjusted Sales Price $56,000.00 (plus 3 free oil changes and all weather mats)

Brought up trade after agreeing to new Truck price (KBB offered me $11,500.00 and TrueCar offered me $11,230.00 - dealer originally offered $10,500.00 and then $11,000.00). We finally agreed to price of $12,000.00 for my vehicle.

No processing fees, notary fees or tag fees, i.e. no add-ons and it wasn’t for their lack of trying.

2019 RAM 1500 LIMITED CREW CAB 4X4 5'7" BOX

All-in-all, I am satisfied with the negotiation process. Took approximately 3 hours to complete. Note, I have been looking for several months, but this was my first visit to this particular dealership.

2019 Limited purchased 4/26/19

MSRP: $68695
dealer discount: $8695
rebate: $500
Total before TTL: $59500
No trade-in

I qualified for no rebates other than the $500 Customer Cash. I'm not a member of USAA, not a realtor, I don't own a competitive truck or a Case tractor and whatever else they list. I didn't even qualify for the $500 from Chrysler Capital because I went with 0% financing for 36m instead.

Could I have done better? Surely, and I had more aggressive pricing from 2 other dealers. But you know what? I really don't care. I didn't want the other trucks; I wanted this one and the price was good enough. Plus the dealer was a pretty straight shooter, great to work with and not at all slimy/sharky. No hidden gotchas so I didn't feel the need to nickel & dime the deal. This was an out of town dealer 3 states away. 1 hr 45min flight out there and a nice 12-hr drive back. It was a fun adventure that I'll review in a separate thread.

MSRP: $56655
Dealer pricing brought it to: $49774
Rebates brought it down to $42,274 about a 25% delta from MSRP
Used: USAA, Trade-in, and Conquest as well as the Cash rebates from factory

After $11K trade-in and $1000 deposit, and, adding $299.50 for theft protection (because I was a dumbass and misunderstood that "TWO" $299 items were added, the other was for documentation), $1627.40 (for mods), and TTL - I was OTD at $34524

Side note: I did end up using Chrysler Financing to get another upfront $1000 discount. In 6 months I will dump them. If I make sure to do that, the net gain will be over $600 (not the full $1K but better than nothing).

A couple days ago, ordered a new Big Horn Quad cab 4x4, 6ft4 box, 5.7 V8, Level 2, bucket seats, trailer brake control, lighting, limited slip, rubber floor mats. I had Friends and Family number (FFP), so I figured there would not be much of a price haggle needed.

MSRP $47,445
- dealer discount 1k
FFP price $43,260
-conquest for my Chevy, and other rebates $5,000
Final $38,260 +TTL

Should I still be negotiating to try to get lower, or a tonneau or bedliner spray included? Just seems like some other deals folks have been getting are pretty good, although maybe they got them from dealer stock versus an order?
We sold our truck yesterday in a private sale so there is no trade to mess with in the deal anymore. Trade-in is usually a loss of a few k anyway for the convenience... Really looking forward to the new RAM...

If out the door covered tax and dmv then you got killer deal.

Dealer discount of only $1k is pretty weak in my opinion. I think they should easily be able to increase that up to $4k+. If you are willing to shop around to other dealers, you may be able to find a couple willing to go up as high as $6k - $7k realistically.

OK, so I've got a tentative deal on my hands, with any luck I'll be buying it tonight...

2019 Limited w/short bed and most of the trimmings (eTorque 5.7, Level 1, anti-spin 3.92 rear, pano roof, bed step, 33-gal tank, 22" wheels, brake controller, body color bumpers), minus the RAM Boxes, which is the only thing I wanted but can't seem to find. It's Billet Silver (I would've preferred Patriot Blue, but NOBODY around here has one).

MSRP: $69,595

Trade-in includes $15,500 in positive equity.

OTD: $47,178

What do you all think?

How much are the taxes and fees? Are they included in the OTD?

I'm not sure how much the taxes and fees are, but that OTD price includes them. The $47-and change is on the road.

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a 1500 Limited Sport 4x2 in the Central to South Florida area. Anyone have any dealership recommendations?

Just google "Ram dealer orlando".
There are 4-5 dealerships with decent prices. Don't exclude the ones in kissimmee.
The dealership in Kendall (Miami area) usually has a decent selection as well.

Thank you! And yes it did include everything. Now its up closer to 52k I added the paint protection and extended warrantee today. Thanks to this forum for suggesting online warrantees to quote, they lowered the price 33% on the extended warrantee
