I ordered skid plates and my truck is done and ready to ship. Status KZIts a long shot but here goes. I think it may be the Protection Group. They stopped accepting builds with the Off Road package around the end of May. My suspicion, even though some (@alacombe and one other I know of)have vehicles coming with the Off Road package, is the Protection Group. In my hunt to find out whats holding up the Rebels it keeps coming back to the skid plates for some reason. Could be this supplier is not dependable because this does not seem to be something in high a demand.
I’m worried just as much! I shared my feelings as well. Hate waitingI fear your salesman may be drinking on the job...

It tells me no window sticker is available..
It tells me no window sticker is available..
My window sticker was exactly the same as far as time tables are concerned. I am over two weeks now in KZ and am only a few hours from assembly plant, still no truck. My dealer’s website shows four trucks in transit including mine. Maybe that is the holdup, getting them all shipped together? My window sticker showed up about 2 days after it’s was built and in KZ. Once I could see the window sticker it showed up on my dealers website as an in transit car the following day. Then like a week after that it showed up on searches done directly on RAMs website. The following day it arrived at my dealer.
I think I got rather lucky with shipping though. Took a little less than two weeks to get from the day it entered KZ to being on my dealers lot in MD.

I'm sure the folks at GM are having a field day monitoring this and other Ram forums. They are gathering valuable insight into, " How NOT to launch the new Chevrolet truck". Thanks to FCAs debacle launch of the Ram the #2 spot is theirs to keep for the foreseeable future.I knew there would be a tipping point. A couple weeks ago people were on here making excuses for Ram. "Late availability, it happens to everyone, ford xxx, chevy xxx, blah blah blah. I tell ya, if it wasnt for the absolutely best interior in an automobile in that limited, I'd be driving a new F150. There is no excuse for this gaggle truck of communication. I get better from the DMV

Somebody needs to talk me off the ledge (or not!). I just about want to cancel my order.
After no call from Ram today, I did a chat with them. I was told that they decided NOT to call me back because everything is proceeding normally on their end. (How would I know this if I didn't pick up the phone since they were supposed to call me?) I was told to call back in two weeks to escalate. Goalpost has been moved to 60 days now!. I also did a phone call to see if the information would be different but was told the same. Here is one snippet from my chat:
AXXXX: Thank you for waiting, James. I can see there was a case escalated for you, however where it on schedule it was returned with the following information:
Have the customer check back in 2 weeks for an update. Trucks take 7-9 weeks+ for building.
Axxxx: I can understand your concern with this, James. However your order is on schedule. We do escalate cases after 30 days to have our ordering team look into things but if there is no concern it is returned.
I was then told I would NOT be receiving any phone calls about my order at all and forget about my escalation #
What is going on? Why can't they just tell me the truth? @RamCares
Ok Will do. Thank youHi Slim,
Please send us a private message with your VIN and selling dealer so we can look into this further for you.
