N0GL Software Update Thread

Got the update earlier today in northern NJ. Haven’t noticed anything different so far. I didn’t lose any settings after the update.

@Neurobit , I hope you are correct.

my issues as follows:
navigation search function not reliable
rear collision too sensitive
no pandora
sirius looses channel on start up
Of those, the issues I had were: Search function and rear collision way too sensitive. Both fixed BTW.
I have not tried adding Pandora yet.

I haven’t checked the nav offline issue yet. What should it look like now?

Works fine now. I searched for a couple of local restaurants (not chains), and it pulled them up lickery split.
That had never worked before. Very impressed.

I’ll have to give it a go.

Btw, is your microphone still greyed out?

I tried searching for Portland airport , and it couldn’t find it, even when I was sitting outside the terminal. Hope the update fixes that

I got another update.

Thank you for waiting. I sincerely apologize, as I understand how frustrating this situation is. Unfortunately, your vehicle is not apart of the current FOTA release, however, please know the appropriate internal parties are working diligently on getting this out. I tried to get a specific timeline for you but they were unable to comment on a release date. As soon as new information becomes available, I will be sure to touch base with you here.

OK...so I guess there is NO Pandora icon to press. I followed some instructions above and just hit SEARCH and requested an artist. It worked perfectly and both the Pandora and SXM channels pulled up for me to select. I guess that's acceptable.

I didn't need to get to the step where I needed to create a new SiriusXM profile. The profile I had already entered worked. So that may be part of the issue.

The easiest way I think you can test it is by tapping the search button on the right side of the xm screen and speak an artist name, say Eric Church. Search results should come back with an Eric Church channel appearing on the top of the list. Tap that channel and then you should be streaming the Pandora channel. All you would need to do then is long press a preset channel at the top of the screen if you wanted to. save your channel. Let me know what issues you encounter if you follow these steps.

Great tip, thanks! It worked exactly as you said and I don’t even have an SXM profile.

Curious if anybody knows what EQ version they were on before and after the update. There seems to be no rhyme or reason, just trying to connect the dots still. I see all the people with updates are on 4.1. Here is mine, no update yet.

Mine was on 4.1 on 18.45.40, and it’s still 4.1 on 19.49.13 (latest update), so no change there.

Online search is working for me.
