I did my first oil change today... I know I saw the question earlier with the answer but didn’t see a picture. For anyone wondering there is lots of room for funnel to add oil, for those with a steady hand you could free pour but you would likely end up with a mess...

Definitely the ram air but that price. So I went with the S&B intake and love it.
The S&B looks like a nice option but other then switching from a flat filter to a round one is it really letting that much more air in over the stock airbox? It is still using the OEM inlet tube into that sealed airbox correct? That is what has prevented me from getting something like the S&B intake. I would like to get the Ram Airflow but the price is ridiculous at the local dealership and shipping is over $350 for me from any of the online retailers.

i was looking at changing the hood to the scoop hood it looks like you can do it around the same price as the plastic ram air tunnel

Just buy a quality drop-in filter, cut out the carbon filter, and you have the performance of an S&B for $41 and not $300. If you are looking for looks under the hood, you can pay $259 more :ROFLMAO:

I ordered mine on eBay. No tax and free shipping. Also you can make an offer.

You can share whatever you like...as long as it's not porn ;)
NOW you tell me... 🙃

Nice find! I think that may be the cheapest yet when you factor in shipping (or lack thereof), at least without visiting the $tealership with a discount coupon.

Does anyone know the filter element part number? Or if there are paper replacement elements from any major filter company? I know it comes with a "washable" cloth element but I don't trust them. Thanks!
I have not been able to locate one online.
I was going to pick one up so that I would have a spare.
I will stop by the dealership sometime this month and see if they can order one.
Will share the parts number if I succeed. ;)
Thanks, I'm wondering that as well now.

Any luck on a part #? I removed the filter tonight, just out of curiosity. No part numbers anywhere on it that I can see. Approximately 15.5" x 12" x 2.75". Seems to be an odd shape, doesn't seem to match any K&N or other universal rectangular filters that I've found so far.

If I remember right a long time ago there was discussion about the Ram air intake and how it handles the snow?

Today it's snowing, and it's that "sideways snow" variety, that you can swear is going straight at your vehicle as you drive.
It was flying into the front of the truck, up over the hood, just everywhere.
I had 2x 30min drives today, I cleaned off the truck's headlights and plate after the first stop -
So I drove about 1 hour in "Sideways snow", it's sticking really well, very wet, very heavy stuff.

This is the perfect mix of factors to end up caked into the intake.
Out of curiosity, I threw open the hood, and here's what I found.

Stop 1

It was cleaned at the front.
after 30min, here was stop 2.

And I opened the intake to find:

Clean and snowless!

PHEW!

Are you looking for the KN drop in filter for the stock air box? If so, the KN filter below fits with no issue. I used this for a month before moving to the ram air flow cai. If you are looking for the filter for the CAI, I’m not sure about that one. I am curious though.
