You will be happy with it.....had mine on for 4 days and no regrets and it seems to be getting better mileage with increased low end torque. The eco light is eager to come on anytime you back off of throttle!!!! I installed with fuel level around 1/2 and 12 mpg computer read. It has worked its way up to 14 computer read tank average mpg and I ran it hard up to 80 mph 2 or 3 times to try out exhaust sound. Playing "high schooler driving Dads truck" would normally really hurt the running average. Nothing real scientific, just a gut feel. I will be getting fuel soon so I will check with calculator. I have the 33 gallon tank option. (Thank goodness I ordered it!)

Just ordered the same one from same place. Couldn’t pass on that price. Now I am wondering if there are test pipes available to delete the cats. Does anyone know?

Mine is on, and I love the sound. The tips look so much better that the stock ones. I may end up having the pipes welded, as the driver's side keeps shifting to the left a bit and it drives me nuts. I'll torque it down one more time and see if I can get it to stay centered.

I ordered mine last week from Hottexhaust.com, with the 20% off. It's supposed to be here next Thursday. A buddy of mine has a lift in his shop at home and is going to help me install it. Looking forward to hearing, and feeling, the difference. With sound being subjective, I'm hoping that this is not too loud for me. I don't want to go "full redneck" here. I'm getting too old for that.

It's not bad. I don't like overly loud exhaust either, and I think this is just right.

I see some have added a hose clamp on muffler hanger to limit side to side movement of rubber block. That might solve your problem if its just too much movement of rubber block to pin. Just a thought.

Haven't had any movement of the pipes. If they are put on correctly and torqued down properly, they shouldn't move. This is my 3rd Magnaflow catback and all have been superb quality with great sound.

Tried doing my install in my driveway by myself. Didn't work out so well, although my 3.5 inch lift made access pretty painless. I just don't have the tools and extra hands that I need. Got an appointment with Midas mufflers the day after Christmas to get it installed.

Sometimes it isn't worth the hassle. I had a local exhaust shop put mine on for $175 which seems about what most users paid. My shop took heat shield on drivers side (for spare tire) loose to get stock system off without cutting it as I decided to save entire OEM exhaust in case it's needed by future owner. You might want to mention about the heat shield trick to your shop. Let us know how you like that sound of HEMI power!!!

If you don't want to cut the OEM drivers side (it is long run) than loosen the spare tire heat shield on drivers side to get old system out as it is the problem area that everyone talks about.

I believe he has air suspension and if put in OR2, should allow removal without having to loosen the heat shield. At least for mine, that is what I did. However, if a shop is doing the install, they will have the benefit of a lift and do what is necessary to keep the stock system for the future. In any case, looking forward to hear your thoughts once installed as I'm sure you will like it as much as the others who have it.

I did mine on my hoist and still had to move the spare tire heat shield to get it out in one piece. The passenger side tip was out of centre a bit but a hose clamp on the hanger got it perfect

Most likely as you suggested, it was a difference or variation in assembly. Sure wasn't easy to get out, just some patience and maneuvering.

That sounds awesome. I was going to go with the Borla Touring, now you have me contemplating Magnaflow. I have Borla ATAK on my Mustang, but they are just overpowering.

They are both great systems and have used both. IMO, the Magnaflow is the better system for the quality, sound and especially cost. Dont think you can go wrong with either. Keep us posted with your choice.

I installed the MF system today and like most others, I'm fighting the hell out of it to get the tips aligned. Everything lose its fine, have a friend space it, use wedges, etc and soon as I tighten it pulls off center. Might to have a muffler shop put some welds in this to make it right. I have it on now but it's not centered at all.

Place it just off center and then tighten. It’ll tighten to center.

Does that make sense? Don’t align centered and then tighten, align it just outside of center, then tighten; it’ll pull to center.
