Delivery arrived today instead of Monday, well I could not waist a good Saturday! (Even though it was 30° outside)
Offroad 2 setting and ramps works perfectly for height and clearance.

Cold start

Start up and revs

Videos don’t do it justice. The depth of the sound is lost and is louder than the video depicts. Camera is 10 ft away. I’ll get more videos driving and after it’s broken in.

If you are a driveway mechanic, you will need to remove the drivers side Bump stop and remove the bolts to the spare tire shield for clearance to remove the OEM catback. Pictures below.

The Magnaflow is very smooth and louder than the videos make it out to be.
No drone, no MDS drone, no MDS change sound, no rasp; just a smooth V8. And at half throttle to WOT, you’re noticed for sure.

Magnaflow really did their homework with this catback. I’m thoroughly impressed.

Sound is objective to one’s ear. Not my first exhaust system as I usually go through 1-3 depending on the set up I am running.
The past 12 cars has taught me what to look for and enjoy. Best part is I only paid $621 shipped to my door from a 25% sale.

Not sure what your post has to offer other than telling someone “‘mine sounds better than yours”. Congrats on your tunnel Ram.

Thank you for your input.

I wholeheartedly agree with your impression. I installed mine last Sunday (OR2 setting and without needing to remove the spare tire shield). It is sounding better every day imo.

My driveway has an incline to it and I needed just an extra inch. It worked and took 5 seconds to remove two screws to gain that extra inch.

Look forward to breaking in the exhaust more.

They should have not made that left side in one piece. At least it's done and now you get to enjoy it. I dont believe you will be disappointed. Looking forward to your further comments.

Agreed that the videos dont let you experience the great sound of the system.

I'm curious, we ALL seem to remove the left side as one unit instead of simply cutting it in half! Why?? After I did mine I thought "why didn't I cut it" who is ever going to buy it!!! Or sell it!!! Or put it back on!!! Just the challenge I guess!!

Because I don’t back down from a challenge. And others wouldn’t always have access to a saw zaw. Lol I wanted to be able to remove it; as well as reinstall just in case.

Here is the stock catback for others to see what we are talking about.

It was a pain to remove that's for sure, glad I had air suspension to raise it up to remove the left side and lower it to easily install the Magnaflow cat back system!! 3 hours start to finish by myself and I'm 70!!!! But a former Marine! Couldn't give up!!!

Active Army here but half your age. About the same time, walking my wife through everything and photos.
We will do her exhaust next. She has a 19 Ram Big Horn Sport.

Happy Veterans Day! Just a curious question, anyone else get a check engine light after installing their exhaust?

No light here.

Did you reconnect the ground by the two bolt flange?

Nope, but I had the light since yesterday when I started and then had to stop the project after just removing those 2 bolts. I obviously put them back before using my truck again but still had a light

Disconnect the battery for 30 min and reset the Keep Active Memory (KAM). Should clear it out.
