LED tail lights cracking

Quoted me $1.651.00 for replacing the failing tail lights. Not covered by warranty.
No phone calls. No follow up. No discussion. Just an invoice for service if I want it. Does the forum have a corporate contact for addressing issues like this?.

Thanks Mark, I sent an email this morning.

That's funny because they're "only" $730ish on moparwholesaleparts.com. https://www.moparwholesaleparts.com...-v8-gas-engine/electrical-cat/tail-lamps-scat

Maybe because the quote was for both?

Took my 2020 Laramie 4x4 crew cab in and the service advisor has ordered the replacement taillight under warrantee. Should be fixed mid next week.

@RamCares I'll advise if I have any issues, but so far satisfied with my dealer.

My headlight cracked with no physical damage at all and is causing condensation in the headlight. The dealer won’t replace it unless I pay the $915 to have it replaced...

Headlights are a tough one since they are on the front and take the brunt of what the road has to throw at them. If there is ZERO signs of physical damage, tell FCA you want to open a case to have it looked at by a regional representative or try another dealer first.

Does anyone know if FCA is replacing with a newer / better quality tail lamp?
Or is everyone getting a replacement that will also delaminate / crack in the future?

Curious how old the lamps are that you folks are finding the cracks in?
Is the replacement part warranty 1-year or still fall under bumper to bumper?
I guess I’d be worried that if this happens again after 1 year that you have to buy the replacements when it’s clearly a manf defect.

The entire truck is 3/36 minus normal wear and tear items.

In my experience (not with FCA) once they replace a part the replacement is warrantied for 1 year. So I’m just suggesting they might just keep replacing them. And be good to know how old some of these lamps that went bad are. Some trucks could be almost 2 years old if purchased in fall of 2018.
Hopefully it’s a manufactured defect that is resolved via a new part number and no one else experiences it once repaired. Just hard to know with current info only.

I just went out and looked over my taillights with a fine tooth comb. My build was 11/28/2018. My taillights look like the day I drove it off the lot. Not a single blemish. It may have been a bad lot/batch from the vendor. It does not appear to be a systemic issue.

Thank you! I have opened a case, there isn’t a single scuff on the headlight so hopefully they will be able to help me.

Mine was replaced under warranty and no issues so far. The dealership told me if there's an issue with them to bring it back and I should be covered under 3 year / 36K warranty.

Unfortunately, joining the club, did my pre-drive walk around, found the passanger side taillight cracked :(
I need to visit the service anyway, because of the terrible door alignments (my mom’s $10k Suzuki overseas, came with perfect gaps and alignment) hope they will cover this under warranty. The crack is clearly at the inner side.
